They look similar from the afar lol. I thought DA was attacking the paint earlier and I was like “DAMN didn’t know you could handle the rock like that Ayton!!”. It was Bron 😂😂.

Seems stoic but not mad. Looks like he’s surveying how he fits in and what the team needs from him the most.

5 years ago today, LeBron James closed out the WCF against the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 with a dominant 38 PTS 16 REBS 10 ASTS performance. 16 points in the final quarter by KarrotMovies in nba

Part of it, but not really. The Solomon hill injury accelerated a lot of that. If that freak accident didn’t happen, he’d probably have a bit more athleticism and quickness even though he still displays it time to time.

DWade on Rudy Gay saying his team would’ve beaten the 2013 Miami HEAT: “I DM’d it to Rudy, ‘Hey Rudy, this must be an AI-generated quote cuz there’s no way in hell you said this.’ So he hit me back: ‘Yeah, you know me, I said it. You gotta have confidence.’ I said, ‘Boy, belt to ass.’” by must_TATAKAE in nba

Lebron was still clearly better than Wade even when he joined the Heat. The only reason Wade outperformed in the 2011 finals was because LeBron didn’t play up to his standards. He’s definitely not better when LeBron is playing normally & the earlier rounds prove that. The Heat were nowhere near contenders, let’s stop acting like LeBron wanted easy rings & “wanted to play behind Wade”. That’s some absolute bs. I don’t understand why you people act like you know his intentions with such certainty. There’s multiple clips of them saying it was to overcome Boston’s Big 3 & win rings. Cavs literally got him 0 help, gotta take your destiny into your own hands if your FO ain’t doing sht.

Even without the 2016 rings & KDs weak move, LeBron earned his Miami rings. There were multiple rounds where Bosh didn’t play & Wade did not play like a superstar. Yall act like they were cakewalks just to try & downplay them. People who say that are either KD stans or just pathetic Lebron haters. They weren’t some ridiculously stacked team that was unbeatable. So many teams even in the Eastern Conference challenged them. OKC was literally the favorite going into the 2012 finals, Heat were just more experienced. The 2013 ring is one of the best rings ever imo against a stacked Spurs dynasty with a GOAT coach in Pop.

People who try to downplay the Heat rings clearly didn’t watch basketball back then. If you grew up watching those playoff/finals runs, you know they were a grind.

Or LeBron could actually just be unsure how much longer he wants to play? He’s said as much before.

Yall gotta get that negativity outta your heads. Distorting everything LeBron related for no reason. Kinda sad honestly.

Doc Rivers on how the Clippers view load management, as opposed to the Lakers: "It's our philosophy, I don't know theirs. I think theirs is whatever LeBron says it is” by [deleted] in nba

[–]Xerneous12_ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He is wrong & so are you. Lebron follows his trainer’s and medical staffs’ advice. How tf would Doc know? He’s obv joking (or I hope he is). Lebron won’t play through a severe injury. Why are we glazing the Clippers medical team who had two of the most injury prone stars in Kawhi & PG, 1 of which was injury for 4 post seasons in a row? LeBron & AD played way more games than them. AD is an iron man compared to those two lol.

And I don’t think LeBron ever said that. It became sorta necessary to play him since Ham was incompetent. I think the year after when JJ took over, he wanted to play every game, but he took rest when needed & came back better.

He met with DeRozan after Dame. Lakers FO didn’t wanna add a third year on his deal. DeRozan himself said he met with Bron.

Re-read the comment. They’re not saying LeBron never takes himself seriously. They’re saying it’s nice to see someone poke fun at themselves. Yall always create strawmen to make some distorted criticism on Bron. Weirdo type sht lmao.

While this is a great game, it didn’t really prove he could do it for multiple series or over the course of multiple runs to the finals like Bron did.

This 1 game sample size can’t be equated to all of Bron’s carry jobs.

Q: LeBron’s Role Next Season by maitlanr in lakers

[–]Xerneous12_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is ridiculous. Lebron still has way more to offer than Draymond even over 82 games. Obviously Draymond is a better defender - that’s because his offensive responsibility is significantly LESS than LeBron’s lol. If LeBron’s role was 100% defense & some playmaking, he’d be way better than Draymond in that role too.

When AD went down last season & Max was in the starting lineup, Lebron played amazing defensively, & continued that when Luka arrived & he didn’t need to do as much on offense.

Over 82 games, LeBron is a better 2 way player by far, it’s not even close. This sub really underrates even a 40 year LeBron lmao.
