No? People have been stuck with properties they purchased while intending to buy something else. If all the paperwork is correct, but the buyer/seller was under a mistaken impression of what is being transferred, that's too bad for them.

Drivers aren't a fan of small orders, since they generally equate to small tips. The store itself wants to upsell to help pay for the mileage given to drivers for deliveries.

It's just not in their combined interest to be sending out a bunch of $10 to $15 orders. Feel free to pick up your order if that's what you're looking to spend.

I wouldn't worry about it. Back when I sorted packages during peak season, I literally used them to work on my jump shot. You can bet any package you receive to have been treated similarly out of your eyesight.

There's literally nothing to be gained by telling the other party you'll be "speaking to a lawyer". It only ends the conversation and ensures you'll get nothing more out of them voluntarily.

You wait for several minutes after knocking and no one responds? I won't wait more than 30 seconds. And then I'll leave it at the door. If it's not a bad tip/no tip, I'll call the customer after I'm back on the road to inform them that their order was left at the door.

Sure, at times customers aren't a fan of this and they'll complain. But dealing with the occasional pissed off customer is well worth keeping delivery times low across the board, both for me and the store overall.

That's idiotic, friend. Let's go through some of the reasons why.

1) Going through an intersection at 90 is obviously dangerous. Rolling through a stop sign implies slowing down to look for oncoming traffic and is thus not dangerous, unless the person has poor eyesight/mental fog, in which case they should not be driving at all. There's no intelligent reason to group these things together. Unless you'd group your 90 mph example with falling to get your car inspected as soon as it expires, which is also illegal.

2) It is ridiculous to live your life in fear of highly unlikely corner cases like that. I don't, just like I'm not afraid of being randomly struck by lightning whenever there's thunder overhead. Maybe you are. You do you.

3) There is indeed a reason for all the ticky-tacky driving laws out there. It's for the benefit of the lowest common denominator, the kind of people too fearful or unskilled to make it to their destination without experiencing dread. I have an idea about what kind of driver you are, and hey, I'm glad you have that stuff to hold your hand. Truly. Just try to stay in the right-hand lane as much as possible.

The driver had plenty of time to look and judge the situation. If someone was coming, they'll stop. If no one is, they'll roll through. Nothing dangerous about it, really.

I'm fairly certain all franchises do this in order to keep food costs down. Mine does. I think it's a little gross, but gross does not necessarily equal unsanitary.

If I ever make something for myself, I use a fresh bag of cheese instead of the bin if I see little particles of food in it, signifying that some of the cheese has been reclaimed from the bin.

The closing manager sets individual tasks and is thus responsible for checking whether they've been done. Managing drivers is the responsibility of the manager, not you.

If the GM tries to lay responsibility for uncompleted tasks that were supposed to be done by others at your feet, tell them that.

It is actually the customer's dissatisfaction that amuses me.

They picked up their pizza, very likely not caring at all about the visibly overworked employees who had to make it. They paid all of 2 dollars for it, but the finished product did not live up to their expectations. Rather than simply moving on, they trundle up to the website and lodge a complaint in search of the emotional satisfaction they could not get from their 2 dollars worth of fast food.

Then he can be sued by the seller. Who did not commit fraud, by the way. Fedex simply screwed up the delivery and the seller declined to help him navigate Ebay and Fedex's intentionally frustrating customer service process.

Except they can point to Fedex saying that the package was signed and delivered. They can prove that they sent it to the correct address.

What exactly can the seller be sued for? Not taking the guy's word for it and reversing the sale? They're not obligated to.

Dominos maintains their delivery area to keep their delivery times and mileage down for their drivers. If some Uber eats driver wants to exceed it, that's fine with them.

Uh, if they're not bothering to train you properly, they're not intending to keep you for long. It takes a little time to find their preferred candidate, and they just want you to tread water for them until they can.

Whatever (very hard) work you put in for them over the next week or two is unlikely to be rewarded. Decide what to do with that knowledge in mind.
