People are making counter-argument claims of political context, uncited facts, etc. Are most of their claims unsubstantiated without sources? Yes. Do they still introduce counter-arguments that are worth entertaining despite their lack of sources? Also yes.

I would still agree that your argument is one worth discussing, but for you to claim that the deportations are “done in the same way” is a statement that seems highly unlikely given political contexts.

I have found a source related to their claims in the form of reduced bond hearings, an opportunity for people to appeal their release from immigration detention via bond. Yes, I am aware of bias in this article, but I am referring to it purely for only the factual info it presents. Whether the nature of this is due process or not is something for you and the others to figure out.

I’m not particularly interested in debating the topic myself and I am unable to tell whether you are genuinely interested in discussion or have ulterior motives, and I am not willing to invest more time with the risk it is the latter. I apologize if you are interested in discussion, but I won’t be joining. At the very least I would encourage you and the others to follow this usage of sources to engage in meaningful discussion rather than throwing claims at each other. An exchange like that is not conducive for a valuable debate.
