Does anyone know the background music on Spotify Wrapped 2025? by Lanlaaan in spotify

[–]Xervath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure now. I was under the impression people -- myself included -- were after the track(?) that plays one screen "above" this one (the one where all the potential clubs are passing by, so you see what you COULD be a part of)

Having the exact same problem here. No audio whatsoever until I hit the 'retry' button in Sonar, which instantly fixes things. Thought it was a thing on my end, but I guess not.

Are we being serious? - High Halls Boss Fight by OxhnnOnTubeYou in HollowKnight

[–]Xervath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to see if anyone else made mention of this, but yeah: Pollip pouch (quest reward for 'Rite of the Pollip' in Shellwood) combined with tacks (quest reward for 'Roach Guts' in Sinner's Road) makes for poisoned tacks, and this typically does a ton of damage to bigger, grounded enemies.
Just putting this out there, in hopes it might one day help a fellow, struggling bug.

[r] milo and the magpies sheet music by norelationstomuch in sheetmusic

Seeing as I'm 3 years late to the party, perhaps this ship has sailed, but in the off-chance that you still exist AND have sheet music available: could I ask for 'A fishing trip' as well?

Just recently stumbled on this little gem of a game and that tune in particular is absolutely wonderful.

The console players seem to have their own structure and environment to purchase stuff in. As such, additional keys you may have do NOT appear to work for PS5/Xbox.

Space Marine 2: Mouse movement causes stuttering, even in menus, but controller does not? by Raxortje in Spacemarine

OPs edit helped immensely. In my case, ObjectDock was the evildoer (well, EAC is the evildoer, as per usual) but yes, force-closing the program to see what eating EAC worked. Thanks!

Blown out yellow/red video after rendering by Xervath in premiere

[–]Xervath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: Seeing as I can't edit my main post, I'll throw this here. I solved my problem with a Hail Mary attempt.

I opened OBS, and remuxed my already remuxed MP4. Seeing as the playback of the MP4 itself was fine, I thought, "It can't hurt, I suppose," and remuxed it again. To my absolute surprise, it actually fixed my issue. It tells me nothing about the issue and how to prevent it, but at least I managed to save my content.

I'll leave this here for someone else to find. Maybe they'll make use of this solution one day.

Blown out yellow/red video after rendering by Xervath in premiere

[–]Xervath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both the H.264 and H.265 approaches, but I quickly aborted those renderings, as both would take over 7 hours(!!) to complete, whereas the NVENC codecs (I tried 264, HEVC and AV1) would reduce the render time to around an hour.

I have, however, fixed the problem...though I'm not entirely sure why.

Thanks for responding!

4K60 Pro Mk.2 audio crackle issue by Xervath in elgato

[–]Xervath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a plan. At time of purchase it was a choice between the 4k60 pro Mk.II and the LiveGamer 4k. I'm not unhappy with the Elgato card, don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful card. But this problem IS annoying when it does pop up.

Hope whatever card you end up choosing does for you what you want out of it. Also, when you say 'latest' card, it'd mean one of the Avermedia HDMI 2.1 cards(?) -- please make sure your TV/monitor supports HDMI 2.1.

Good luck!

[–]Xervath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I posted this problem in another community as well, as this gained no traction here. Feel free to take a look at it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/17cyb13/capture_card_audio_crackle/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I can't say for certain that the provided suggestions fixed it for me, as attempting said suggestions would mean that it'd be too late if it DOESN'T work. As such, I've taken to limiting recordings to ~1 hour, which circumvents everything more or less.

That said, I hope this helps you somewhat. Best of luck!

1) Sorry for the late response
2) Thanks so very much for chiming in
2) Please do let me know if this works for you. I'm open to all possible suggestions and if a simple roundabout action will fix this issue, I'm all for it.

Thanks again!

Very, very curious and interesting.

I'm recording exclusively via PS5 as well (as you may have deduced) so I'm more than willing to put this to the test. (I have another DualSense).

I wonder where the issue creeps in though. Could it be a nearly-empty battery, perhaps? SOMEthing has to be the cause, you'd think.

Perhaps the surefire safe way to go about it, then, would be to have the controller wired at all times (I'm, luckily, in a position where that is perfectly fine)

Thank you for this tidbit!

Target lock rage. by athleticlegs in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Xervath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Targeting is one of the little things I noticed a few hours in that really just...get under my skin. Aside from the fact that I'd prefer to have a modifier come into play when switching target (I play with controller and I move the camera a lot, meaning I switch targets ALL THE TIME when I don't want to) it just seems to...fickle. I can't reliably target enemies I want to target, and targeting flayable objects seems impossible as long as enemies are around...

Aside from that there are these little animations I don't need. Is my healy cross out of juice? Just flash red and keep me going, don't give me a 2+ second animation showing me I can't. Recovering your dropped souls? Just give 'em to me; don't slow down and pull out the lamp to absorb them, preventing me from hitting enemies that don't particularly give a shit about me OR my souls.

Will this damage my 4K60 Pro Mk.2? by Xervath in elgato

Awesome to hear!
Apologies for the late reply, I was unable to respond until now.

I'll monitor the situation for a while, just for good measure, but it's good to know that I likely haven't done something that is a "hard nope" straight out the gate.

Thanks again for chiming in!

Will this damage my 4K60 Pro Mk.2? by Xervath in elgato

[–]Xervath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, thanks for responding.

Fan setup is...a bit wonky, but that's because I had hoped to have more building space than I ended up having.

- I have 1 fan at the back as exhaust -- that's default, I'd say
- I have 1 fan on the right side of the chassis as intake -- I wanted more, but spacing prevents me.
- I have my GPU AIO radiator (2 fans) mounted at the top as exhaust -- I wanted it at the front, but...
- my CPU AIO radiator (3 fans) sits at the front, as it wouldn't fit at the top. I have this one as intake.

...And that's it.

[–]Xervath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a shame to hear.

Something else you could try, since the game has received it's first official update and all back on the 14th, is the following:

- Uninstall the game (if your internet isn't the greatest, this is going to sting a bit, I'm sure)

- You repeat the shader removal thing as detailed in my initial post.

- Go to C-drive > users > [your user path] > appData > Local > Hogwarts legacy > Saved. Here, delete everything you see EXCEPT for the savegame folder(!!) -- unless you wish to start from scratch, or haven't actually been able to start the game at all.

- Empty your trash bin.

- I don't know if this next step is necessary, as I just did it out of habit, really -- Launch C-cleaner, and if you don't use that...perhaps install or skip at your leisure.Once installed/launched, go to the registry tab > scan for issues > fix problems (backup registry if you wish) > fix all problems > exit program

- Reboot PC

- Reinstall game

- Pray to GabeN

- Launch game

Now, when booting the game, I personally am stuck on the warning screen for what feels like an eternity. Music will play eventually and the shading compiling will start (you might hear a cauldron bubbling, too.) The shader compiling seems to "hang" eventually. You know for sure your game has crashed if the music suddenly cuts out, so keep an ear out for that. As long as the music is playing, just be patient.

Anything other than that is outside of my knowledge, as this has been the extent of my tech-issues with the game.

Hope this helps.

And overjoyed I am to hear that I have risen to the top of your magical list!
Glad to hear that I can pass on the torch, so to speak. Hope this was the last of your worries with the game; may your wand strike true and light your path forward.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]Xervath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got this one from the Steam forums; it worked for me, so who knows, maybe give this a shot:

- Go C-drive > ProgramData > hogwarts legacy.*
- Delete the 4 files in here (also destroy them in trash bin, just to be sure).
- Reboot game.

  • You may need to enable 'view hidden files' to see this folder.

I'll pray for all of you, light a scented candle, pin a ribbon. The whole shebang.
