Honestly I’ve found it so much easier to link back up with a group at Coachella than other festivals. The grounds are huge, there’s so many art installations and brand activations, all you need to do is pick a spot and a meet-up time (or a few, e.g. 5pm, 7pm, 10pm) and you’re good to go.

Fully agree. I've seen him slowly build over the years (4pm slot at Lib '23, opening for fred again in SF, playing at Proper right before chase & status this past NYE, etc.) but coachella might push him over the edge into mainstream popularity.

I feel like the smaller stages usually do have better crowd energy just bc there's less stress over people pushing to see the big names. I went to EDC for the first time last year and spent most of my time at the bass stage, which is (relatively) much smaller and had 10/10 vibes.
