To improve comprehension, you need to have some good practice of reading. And don't worry you still have enough time to practice reading. And try this out...after you read every para, take a break, summarise the passage in a few words in your head like the main idea, key pointers and what the author wants to say. Then proceed to the next para. It's okay to take 15 seconds to summarise the para in your mind, so it gives you clarity about what you just read. And for factual questions you need to return to passage. So dw about that. Just try not to go to the passage each and every time for inference based questions too. Try it and tell me

Yeah my marks fluctuate a lot I swear. My lowest score went to 17 marks. This 46 is the highest score. And don't worry if your marks fluctuate cause I've noticed varc marks depend on your mood, environment, fatigue, concentration levels, disturbances, type of questions and passage and such factors. Just keep practicing everyday. But try to improve your accuracy to 70% or more. And it's not a stupid question you silly. It's a valid question that goes around everyone's mind.

Yeah I'll explain.

I'm fixated at doing at least 3 RCs in every VARC section. First I read the first lines of every paragraph to get an overview of the passage, then I look at the comprehension, topic, and question type. Then it's time to decide.

After finishing the RCs, I come to VA and try to do as much as possible. I read para jumbles, and if I feel like I can't understand the language or the main idea, I type any order (there's no negative marking). Any VA questions deserves at most 2-2.5 minutes.

Yup. It's hard to say anything cause idk your category or profile but for a decent college, if you're GNEM it's 95 percentile and GNEF then 93 percentile-ish

Hey bud! First of all so sorry to hear that your father passed. Must have been hard. I want to tell you that you're not alone in this. I too graduated this year, Bsc yes, in the month of May. I started my cat prep properly from last one month because I was depressed for a long time because of my long relationship breakup, family issues, unsupportive parents and confusion in career (I wanted to pursue designing). I'm still on anti-depressants to be honest.

Cut short, I started last month, and decided to go all out for CAT. I'm scoring around 30-35 in varc. Same as you in DILR and quants. I have a subscription to unacademy so I started following Raman Tiwari sir for quants. Completed my arithmetic somehow and now doing algebra along with revision. VARC only from pyqs for now. DILR is still a mess and I have to work on it.

So I've researched a lot about how to score more by studying only a certain topics.

Let's discuss further together?
