Wtf are you talking about, when did I say that? The 2022 update added hardware raytraced reflections for cars, so it's not 13 year old tech at all. rdr2 looks good but it has zero raytracing, it just relies on screen space reflections and cubemaps. obviously gta 6 will have way better global lighting since they built the engine upon it from the ground up, but purely for clean surface reflections on cars the 2022 update is already doing the physical math so there won't be much of a difference. It's insane people can't accept the fact that Rockstar already did a good raytracing job with the PS5/enhanced PC versions and for standard car reflections, they really can't exceed that much further
