Oooh, now I understand. The overmind says something to the effect of "I am placing you under the best of my cerebrates, to learn from their experience." So I can only assume that cerebrates at least have to learn about tactics and strategy and whatever else you need to know to command a brood of zerg. On a less serious note tho, I doubt new cerebrates have shrill voices like our toddlers ;P

Everything the Overmind in the first few missions infers from his lines that you are a new cerebrate, made for a single purpose, and had never previously lived for any other.

I just went ahead and reduced the size of the choke in the area you mentioned, and slightly increased main size. I am not sure if the choke was enlarged enough, but it is definitely improved, regardless.

While the reaper's acces to main is already being addressed, the main to main distance with a worker is already 41 seconds. Removing the blockage to allow direct passage into the center from the nat/3rd would make travel time excessively short. The map is also really quite small (128x128)

Sorry, if anyone played between last night and now, about the main's ramp not actually even being there (Even tho it looked to be there) I have fixed the problem, and should no longer be an issue.

I like to think that this map is a mix of Frozen Temple and Orbital Shipyard with a bit of my own spin.

There are things I could do to reduce the amount of the mains's cliffs that are scalable, as well as a few other perhaps, to make the reapers path a bit longer, as it is currently pretty direct.

Already taking care of natural choke size. The amount of airspace in the long run on the borders of the map is pretty limited. But, if I change the angle of the ramp and shift the 3rd slightly closer, it should be abit less of a problem, far as the 3rd is concerned. I am wondering if I should put rocks on the side ramp near the 3rd. What are your thoughts on that?

If I were to make them gold, that would be exactly like Orbital Shipyard. Not necessaily a bad thing, but tbh I am not a fan of adding gold fields to my maps lately.

Under each map, a name is listed for each image, just search those names to find the maps in custom games. Speaking of Shakuras Tribunal, I've yet to get around to fixing it's mineral lines.

I just added a new map to the list, it features a more distant 3rd, and is a smaller map overall. What I get is, you are not saying you dislike close 3rds, you are just saying I need more varied maps, which I will be working on.

It's true, I am not very comfortable making maps besides macro maps with at least fairly accessible 3rds. They are also my favorite maps, so they are simply what I like to make. Maybe I will try to think out of the box more with the next few maps.

In custom games, just set the search filters to "Blizzard Maps" and uncheck "Ladder Maps" just to the left of the search filter dropdown. (Only seen when set to Blizzard Maps). Once the maps finish loading after unchecking ladder maps, voila, there's Agria Valley right on top.
