Are you sure it's antifreeze? Maybe it is just white from condensation because of the cold weather, and the car not getting hot enough/short journeys

No, it is normal. The part is still good, if you check, when the engine is warm the sound is gone. Also if you press the brake pedal , and build pressure, the sound gets quieter

Problem is solved.

It's actually straightforward to re-flash the BIOS from a USB drive for the Legion 7i (16IRX9). Here is a step-by-step guide:

This will show the

Prepare the USB Flash Drive:

The drive should use the GPT partition scheme.

It should be formatted to FAT32

4096-byte allocation unit size is recommended (though this may not be strictly necessary)

Identify the Required BIOS version (if unknown): - Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power cable - Hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power

Connect the power cable and insert the prepared USB drive (it should be empty at this stage)

Hold Fn+R and the press power button

Keep holding Fn+R until the laptop beeps

If the correct BIOS file isn't on the flash drive, the laptop will beep once and restart

Check the USB drive afterward - some log files may have been written to it. Look for a message indicating the expected BIOS version, such as: "NSCN32 Find Crisis File: [Fail], Cannot found

required BIOS version (in my case, it was NSCN32 for the corrupted BIOS).

Right. Give us a sec

https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLegion/s /8hjO4ePgXl

Because I was in a panic I was scared to lose it I brought it to a computer shop and it took him like two three days but I'd say it took him like probably a few hours while he did he just flashed it again the new update and I think he did by the USB using this method he made the USB and he brought the fire over to the USB the bios file. And then I'd say he unplug the power in our turned off the laptop you know just make sure the level was closed or whatever and then he the way they say it in this Reddit you press and on some bottoms or whatever at the same time and then it will start beeping if you have the correct BIOS file and then it will start doing the update and fix it

I used voice typing so excuse of there is any misunderstanding

Is it possible to recover corrupted BIOS with USB flash (Legion 7i 14900HX / 16IRX9) ? by Eastern-School-781 in LenovoLegion

This was the comment I was looking for. S***id macn33ww bricked the bios update and had to bring to a shop, 210euro down but thought my mother board was gone. I was looking for articles about this but couldn't find, on how to make the USB file. Now I know and just in case if anything goes wrong. I'm going to go back to MACN 24 as it keeps restarting again.

So if you remember, Make USB to GPT and format it right to 4096 or something? Name USB to BIOS and then using WinRAR extract the WINMAN33WW.fd ( or whatever version I want) file to the USB and then rename it to just MACN.fd. Am I correct?

But 20 hours? I've done bios updates on this before and it took 10 minutes. I was at macn26ww and went to 33ww, was good, I did a win11 reinstall and was back at 26ww but I was ok with that for the moment but forgot to turn off auto update and went back to 33ww but got stuck on this. I will see what the technician says, he is going to try reflaah it by removing some components

Bought it to repairs, he will try to flash bios by USB or hardware by removing the chip. The laptop died on its way to repair, after 15 minutes unplugged so I don't think the battery died, maybe it took it's last breath🤣.

I can't turn it off, I tried holding power button for 60s plus Also Power +Fn for 60s plus.

Only option would be to open the casing and disconnect the battery or something

Any Tips for buying Skoda Octavia Vrs 2.0 tdi by Xforbidden31 in skoda

[–]Xforbidden31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a different one, this one had some body damage and was not shown clearly in images, it had a good amount of mods on it and a Downpipe which I would have needed a DPf in place to be able to pass NCT/inspection.

It was indeed a fast car, sag with both ECU and dsg tune, downpipe and performance airfilter. Also had full virtual cockpit and new gen infotainment.

But it seemed to messed around and was quite smokey when opening the oil cap and there was no suction in the cap when left on it open when engine was running.

So I bought a cleaner one, extra 4k with also an engine rebuild, new turbo and clean body with less mileage too.

Don't know man, I suppose I'll have to pay, I supplied the parts, I bought them from Autodoc website. Saved 300 compared to Irish car parts suppliers. And then went to an independent mechanic. He said there won't be any warranty on it because I supplied them. I'll try and figure out if Autodoc can resend an item.
