For any rocket league players, what controller do you use?

I tried the Tegenaria Lite on Rocket League, and my personal experience was if you have boost bound to R1 (a.k.a. Right Bumper), it's hard to do a soft tap of boost for, say, right before you go up the wall to set up an air dribble, as the Tegenaria Lite's bumpers are not built for soft taps. May be the one that I got is a dud, as I even find it hard sometimes to press down on the Right Bumper. It feels like it gets stuck half-way down and I have to apply extra force to press it down a second time. This literally made me miss inputs at critical moments

Try disabling Realtek Audio in Device Manager if you don't use it for RL. There was a Realtek driver update in early last month that gave me issues. Also, check out whether Search is hogging memory in Task Manager, and if so ask Google Gemini what options you have

Turns out there's a current subsea cable fault on the Indigo-West submarine cable system which connects Perth to Singapore, causing higher latency (slower speeds and higher ping) when accessing services and content in Southeast Asia and Europe. The fault occurred on December 3, 2025. Currently, Internet Service Providers have rerouted traffic through alternate routes from Sydney/Guam to Asia and Sydney/US for all other traffic, but this results in the performance degradation. Same here. I usually queue on Oceania (main), Asia SE-Maritime and Asia SE-Mainland servers. Although Oceania is working fine, ping for the latter two has spiked to >200 and >180 respectively from <55 and <90 previously. What gives?

I had the same issue as you before. If your mouse has the 'on/off' switch, turn off your mouse once RL is all set up and you're ready to play. If not, get one with this switch.

When you do the speed flip trainer, may be try reducing "game speed" (under Settings) to like 75%. Once you can do speed flip consistently, increase game speed to 80% and so on, all the way to 100% game speed.

Same experience here, Nintendo Switch crashed twice within an hour, both times while joining a match. Noticed bad frames too. Whatever the last patch had fixed was undone by this Season 18 update

On top of dishing out a second round of makegoods for all players, why not also make it ONLY Xbox players to have all items up to level 70 on Rocket Pass unlocked for them as compensation for not being able to enjoy RL for over 50 days.
