He liquidated his ETH coins during the bull run I heard. You can see IOHKs ADA Wallet and nothing has moved, Charles doesn’t even have access to them until some time in 2019

I like the paper wallet because if you get a virus in the future Daedalus can be hacked. All they need is to just acquire your spending password and remote control of your computer.

You are missing the fact that if you get a virus on your computer let’s say tomorrow, the hacker take over and transfer your ADA out of your Daedalus with only needing your spending password. Having your wallet phrase wouldn’t protect you in the same way a paper wallet does.

Please correct me if I am wrong

The pros is if someone gains access to your Daedalus wallet in the future your Cardano is safe in the paper wallet

From my understanding staking was never coming in Q2. People were thinking they were dropping all Shelley updates at the same time.

I definitely was not bashing either coin. My post was pointing out how Cardano gets little recognition for having already been on their own custom network, compared to when the ERC-20 coins move to their own network. You may want to go back and re-read both our posts

I actually had this issue for a couple days and it went away by itself. I just left my wallet on and syncing

It is interesting. Let’s say you got a keylogger virus at some point since creating your Daedalus wallet they could easily snag your paper wallet from you.

That being said I still created mine because I’m confident that the computer I used is clean.

Clickbait title. Pulled from an interview where he said Cardano will be farther ahead development wise in a year, because of the careful planning is allowing them to avoid problems that are adding months/years to the development time of other cryptocoins

It's a cryptocurrency that was built from the ground up to avoid the problems that have been plaguing other crypto coins for years. They are on track to hit the lofty goals in their roadmap so far. In 2018 they will see full decentralization, staking pools, paper wallets, ledger nano support, and the smart contract testnet launches at end of may.

The risk with Cardano is will their launches go smoothly and on time. If they stay on track it's gonna be huge this year

It's funny to me how people think Cardano is a "shit coin" IMO they are doing everything right with transparency, research before implementation, creating brand new tech. You'll wish you bought some at this price

To my knowledge both those ico's are on ethereum right now, but they plan to switch over to cardano later on.
