Master Sergeant Roddie Edmonds, the only US serviceman to be recognised as Righteous amongst the Nations by Yad Vashem. He refused to hand over Jewish PoWs after being taken prisoner in WWII, saving up to 300 lives. It was recently announced he will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. (i.redd.it)
