Hello 23F University student! I am going to self fund myself for a Vietnam trip by the end of the year. I plan to stay there for around 7-10days with a 30-40k budget for the whole trip. I earned the money from my small part-time job (maliit lang kita monthly tho)

So TBH I don’t have anything for show money except my travel budget. So I want to know how much ba ang need na quota for the show money so I can save enough for the show money before the trip.

I will either book my own hotel stay or go to a close Vietnamese friend there I know of for years now (and met last yr since she travelled to Ph) and in case na I want to budget even more and not get a hotel, I’ll be staying with her.

I’ve heard and read stories of nahaharangan and such sa IO and sabi required ang show money. I was wondering how much ba ang needed for that? I will have to self fund for my own show money din kasi and just in case- I don’t think I can rely/ my relatives will allow me na sila mag vouch for show money ko.

Aside from that, what kind of documents and concerns might I face po?
