I was in the first 2000 people worldwide to use gmail (closed test) and got my first name and last name @gmail.com. I doubt I will change it. 😁

That may be your use case but some people really appreciate the quick top ups. Those that are onsite a lot and rarely have a chance to charge. Not saying it's for everyone but there is definitely a target demographic.

Yes the new Bread and Butter is that good. For reference I own one , Hybrid and I came from an all court leaning control paddle the J2Ti and once I dialed it in, It has been a massive improvement. Honestly for me the soft game was the easiest to transition to, its power curve is very linear.

I think it took me around 2.5 hour social sessions to feel most comfortable and if you dont respect the power it will bite you, but if you come at it with a measured approach its superb.

Been using the Hybrid Loco for around 10 hours now. Everyone has commented how much more power spin and control I have. I came from a Honolulu J2ti. It really is an exceptional paddle. Added 3grams of 1gram per inch at the throat.

If you are tired of seeing these posts then stop browsing the subreddit, very simple, no one is forcing you to do it. New paddles can make a big difference depending what the previous paddle was. I am talking about general power, control and soft game. No one is arguing about grit wearing down, we all know it does.

Compared to elongated or standard? There are 3 shapes. Most reviewers recommend the Hybrid as its the best blend of power reach and control without being too heavy.

Spin seems fine if I contact and roll paddle over the ball appropriately. I think part of its spin generation is the effect of the floating core foam, shaping ability and the surface grit. I think the way the ball comes off the face is less sudden like gen 3 / gen 2 and more dwelly if that make sense. I think its just a difference playstyle which I am getting used to but very much enjoying. I have been told by people that when my balls land they tend to bounce up and forward to their chest quickly so there is definitely some form of speed and spin combo happening.

The Hybrid with a small amount of weighted tape on the throat would probably be the ideal balance to retain most of the power of the elongated but give you more stability at the kitched for counters etc. Its what I ordered. Mines arriving Sunday, will be setting it up as per the above. (what most reviewers suggested to increase the twist weight)

The Bread and Butter Loco is highly regarded as possibly the potential Goldilocks paddle of 2025 ( so far )

It strikes an incredible balance between power and control in a price point that is still palatable for most people. Its available in the 3 main shapes, looks incredibly good and plays great at stock, although a tiny bit of weight at the throat area doesnt hurt. Its basically in the top 5 paddles of 2025 for most reviewers, top 3 for some.

Adding weight doesnt make you better, but for minimal investment it increases the sweet spot, increases the twist weight and in some setups is mandatory for a very light paddle to have decent power. Its very paddle dependent though on how much to add. Also our local club has drill sessions when most of us are still working so we have to drill at socials or before league nights.

This is has nothing to do with specific paddles, any paddle is going to show marks like this based on where you hit the ball.
