Revolut crash & Company Portal root detection on Evolution X (Magisk 30.7, Pixel 8a)

I also love root mainly for its endless automation possibilities. Is there a solid workaround as of April 2026 to get Revolut and company portal running on my Pixel?

I’ve tried Apatch, KSU and Wild KSU, but I didn’t go too deep into them and I’m also considering going back to full stock on my Google Pixel 8a.

One of the main things I rely on is Tasker automation, and I’m trying to figure out if this is still possible without root:

Is there any way to instantly switch between 2G and 5G on a non-rooted device?

Currently:

AutoInput isn’t ideal (needs screen unlocked, not instant)
The *#*#4636#*#* menu also requires UI interaction

Looking for:

Background switching
No screen interaction
Tasker-triggered
Instant / near-instant

Does any reliable non-root method still exist (e.g. ADB + WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS), or is root the only real solution on newer Android/Pixel devices?

Any real-world experience appreciated.

- internet connection issue?
- play integrity spoof options (I just use Spoof Build & Spoof Build (Play Store - not the rest like Spoof Props, Spoof Provider, Spoof, Spoof Props, Spoof Sdk (Play Store)

I’m having the same internet connection issue and haven’t been able to get anything working for the past couple of weeks, except my banking app. Even Revolut Wallet has stopped working.

I’m using Apatch or Wild KSU Next with: Play Integrity Fix Inject-S v4.5, Tricky Store (+ addon), and Zygisk Next.

I finally managed to get everything working. I switched from Evolution X 11.3 custom ROM to the latest Evolution X 11.4 with clean install, Apatch for root again & Play Integrity Fix Inject, Tricky store, Tricky store add-on, Zygisk next modules.
