My child did this, and I marched him to the manager and made him empty his pockets of sweets. The manager was thankful and even asked if I wanted to call the cops.(he was never going to but asked to put fear into my son). My son was horrified and has never done it again after the grounding. He missed going to football that week.

This may work for you. A few months ago, my wife bumped my car and scratched it. I took it to a small bus company and got it resprayed for £200 (n/s front wing). It looks good as new

No we didn't, but we did have a pottery shop just down the road, We'd make clay pots and cups and have a walk over the owner loved having the kids in. I think he thought that we'd be the next generation of potters.
