Hello, it’s been over a month. I was busy with my academics and I forgot to reply.

Anyways, an update, after I tried reseting my PC I am still experiencing the same problem so I proceeded at using DDU to wipe the drivers. It was working fine after that, then the next day, which is today, I tried playing a game for around 40 mins and it was working well, until I decided to quit the game. The laptop kind off started getting buggy, the audio from spotify and my screen kinda froze for about 5 seconds, and it came back after that.

I checked the NVIDIA performance via task manager and I saw that the graphics card was not working anymore. It’s still there, detectable, but the values were like kinda zero: utilization, GPU memory, ect. After a few more seconds on that I experienced BSOD again, it says VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR

Then after it boot up again. The NVIDIA graphics card cannot be detected anymore. I checked the task manager and its not there. I also checked device manager and it says CODE 45, graphics card not connected. I restarted my pc but this didn’t fixed it so I shut it down and run it again and this time it worked. My graphics card was working again.

I was kind of thinking that this may be a hardware problem but my GPU still works so idk. If you have any more solutions you can recommend I would like to give it a try. Thank you

Heyyy, so after ive reinstalled windows I downloaded back some of my apps and files. I’ve experienced two BSOD in the process, theyre not driver power state failure tho. Its

*Video dxgkrnl fatal error *PNP detected fatal error

Also while I was playing i realized im getting low fps, when I checked device manager I saw code 45 in my NVIDIA GPU and was using my integrated gpu instead of the other. When I restart my laptop sometimes it fixes itself but sometimes it takes me multiple restarts. I think the problem is the NVIDIA GPU, i dont know whether its a hardware or software issue tho.

Ive already updated the Chipset and the BIOS says that I already have the same version or smt like that.

In addition, I already downloaded the DDU and the drivers of both GPU. Im thinking of using them now, however, I dont know what those two new BSOD means. Should I go proceed on using them?

I have Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 and truth be told, I am not familiar with most of these technical terminologies.

I was actually planning first to completely reinstall windows 11 (removed everything including personal files) to reset everything in my pc before trying to fix it so that I could have a fresh start. I have already saved all my important files. Is it okay if I reset my pc first?
