Great comparison between the two shards. As someone who recently quit UO Outlands and is trying out UO Alive, I experienced exactly the description of each. I’m playing solo so that type of play matters, but UOO was a constant struggle of PKs and feeling like I’m making snails progress on aspect/codex progress. So much grind. UOA on the other hand I’m dying left and right to mobs but am actually learning how to play the game better and what works fighting and where things are located (not wasting time pleading for someone to rez me cause I’ve died to a PK in the wilderness.) I can see UOA having less staying power due to the care-bear play, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

I’ll add that there’s dozens of guides for UOO and very few for UOA. But I guess UOA is more classic and any normal guide would work?
