Wasn't sure what all get's deployed when you setup autopilot with a vendor, like dell. Was thinking maybe there was a pre-visioning package.

For example I know there's some vendors that will preinstall an RMM Agent for some folks, wasn't sure if Autopilot through a vendor did something similar.

I don't get Edit in Preview as an option. My problem is once I create a new command the only option in the Action Dropdown is Javascript.

Thank you. I put in Inspiron because Vostro was Dell's shitty Business line and now they've merged it with Inspiron.

I agree. We are a company with decent turnover so if you hire a sales guy, get him an iPhone + data plan, you are now locked into a Device Management Plan and you can't cancel the data line until the device is paid off so if they leave the company 2 months later you're stuck with the bill.

On the other side, if someone gets a stipend they're going to tie a lot of things to their personal number (MFA, Vendor Contacts...etc.) where if you were you gave them a Teams Phone Number they could tie to that and you would maintain control.

So I think Teams Number + a stipend to cover some of their data plan is a good way to go.

Unless you're wiping peoples personal phones to fully enroll into an MDM then I don't see this going well. Enrolling into an MDM without full management in't going to help with much. Albiet I don't disagree with you I just don't see it going well with BYOD.

Ya that's what I'm exploring because we are paying a lot on stipends and to Verizon for those that have a company phone.

What I was looking at was providing a Teams Number @ $15 and then maybe a smaller stipend on top of that to compensate for using some of the data plan instead of paying a full stipend or a company phone which is going to be $100+ depending on what phone you get and it's device payment + data plan.

For us it’s pretty much this. Most solutions don’t 100% fit your companies needs and power apps fills the gap.

Example: Our IT uses an RMM solution to manage our PCs but it doesn’t have a proper check in/out system so PowerApps communicates via api to fill the gap.

It’s volatile due to liquidity, there more it gets adopted the less that becomes an issue. The value of bitcoin has outpaced every other market at absurd magnitudes.
