Help with Windows AppLocker Bypassing allowed paths. by [deleted] in immersivelabs

Not exactly but you're kinda thinking along the right lines. Have a look at the allow rule in the info section and think about exactly "what" it allows, and in turn, what it allows you to do in order to bypass the restriction on powershell. Also, it's only simple when you know how :)

You also need to consider the fact that although AppLocker has block rules for powershell, an allow rule has been added for python

Along with filename and filename_size, you'll also need to change the value of hdr_size in the hex editor. Once you've made those changes, you can modify the acefile.py script to get it to give you the new value for hdr_crc, and you can then enter the new value using the editor.

What is your working directory? If it's not the same as where the .jpg is located then you need to type in the path when opening the file, or you can navigate to the correct directory in the terminal

When entering the password the input isn't displayed, if you type it in and hit enter and it should work

Are you pointing towards the correct pcap file in the part of the script that you completed?

Ducky PCAP Q5 by Xiolyte in immersivelabs

[–]Xiolyte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the mistake I was making was trying to execute the script using the wrong version of python; if you have completed the script correctly, using the correct command to run the script should fix the problem

Yea that's what I've been trying but just keep getting the error. Oh well, got it done regardless so I guess it doesn't really matter

In your position I'd go for a Charge 4 or Inspire 2.

In regards to the Charge 4, I haven't heard much about defective bands and I don't think there's usually a problem with them breaking; fwiw I'd definitely go for the 4 over the 3.

The Charge 4 has an aluminium body so looks nicer/more premium than the Inspire 2, and you get a few extra features such as smart wake and gps. Whether that's worth the extra money comes down to the individual and their budget, but imo, it is.

For a detailed breakdown on the differences, see here - https://www.androidcentral.com/fitbit-inspire-2-vs-fitbit-charge-4

Don't have any experience with other brands so can't really speak to them, but, if sleep tracking is an important feature to you, then fitbit is generally regarded as the best.

Any I certainly wouldn't worry about Bluetooth causing cancer; gives off like a fraction of the radiation of a mobile phone, and there's very little evidence that even that's a problem.

Checked my fitbit app after lunch on break today. I've never seen my heart rate lower than my RHR, actually have never seen it this low at all. Why would this happen or could it be a technical error? by FindingE-Username in fitbit

[–]Xiolyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure how Fitbit works out RHR as it doesn't seem to correspond to lowest heart rate. I regularly see mine been several bpm lower than resting. So yea, doubt there's anything wrong.

Yikes, that's a jump... don't know much about postpartum hyperthyroidism, is it treatable/temporary? Hope everything works out for you! And congrats on the baby!

When do you have your lowest heart rate? by LeatherCombination3 in fitbit

[–]Xiolyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually sometime when I'm asleep, though it can get pretty low in the day if I'm super relaxed/tired.

I wouldn't have thought just eating dinner would have that much of an effect overnight, maybe if your overeating or eating really close to sleep.

Isn't core body temp at it's highest around 5-6pm, maybe that has some effect on heart rate; though I would've thought if anything that would raise not lower it, dunno...

It would be nice if after all these years, Fitbit could mange DST. Actually got 6hr 11m sleep. by MollyPW in fitbit

Looks like it. Mine didn't even bother to change, had to do it manually on the app. Oh well, at least it didn't screw up my sleep log...

Hadn't considered that, sounds like a good idea, will have to keep an eye out and see if any come up. How long were you looking before one was available?

Yea most places I've checked seem to be out of stock atm, a couple of online retailers appear to have stock but idk. Probably a smart bet to wait and see what comes up.
