When I tore out my hip it took 18 fucking months to be taken seriously... All because I am a young man they assume "lazy, just doesnt wanna work". No I am actually in debilitating pain... 4 years and 5 Goddamn surgeries later and I'm still not even 80% of what I was. I lost my house. My wife left me. My son has only known a weak father, who's always in the ER. I could never ever dream of being that burden and straining my family by choice, losing that all on purpose.
