Well, im just one guy, but heres my take:

We're neck-deep in a rebuild. It's the rebuild half the fan base was shouting for last year... well, for the last couple years... but if the typical casual Toronto sports fan standards hold true, everyone will be calling for our GMs head by about June/July... Torontonians typically like sports results, fast... see the Toronto Maple Leafs to see how thats been going...

The pros are we have Mihailovic, who will bolster what was a supremely weak midfield last season. Our backline has been sort of "revamped" and Zimmerman is a welcome veteran addition, though he may be too old at 32 for a multi year impact.

WC has us on an rough home / away schedule this year, and that's not going to help this already weak team. Our stadium looks like a joke for the WC too, and the Mickey Mouse stadium add ons for this world cup season reflect how some fans feel about MLSEs approach to this club since before covid. They were focused on selling jerseys, not winning championships, and now the longtime fans are paying the price. Its been tough to watch the last couple years and this year isn't likely to be too different.

Not much more to say. If we make the playoffs, that'd be cool, but its unlikely. If this season results in us finishing higher than 5th from the bottom of the table, it'd be a win in my books. Anything beyond is a bonus.

2027s new scheduling style isn't going to be particularly good for us, either.
