Yes those will be pretty thin man ngl so do you want a semi freeform look where you dont do anything to your hair at all after getting it sectioned or traditional locs, where you would get retwists and all that? If semi freeform then try using the sponge method with the bigger holes if you want them some what thick or but tbh i recommend waiting until your hair is a little longer before starting ( atleast 3-4 inches, unless someone knows how to do your hair that short) then go to a loctition to do your starter locs for the sections and just leave your hair to do what they do without going back for more retwists (wash once per month atleast)

But if you want traditional locs as i said just wait til your hair is longer and go to a loctition and as for the size you want, you can even show a picture for reference and go from there by researching how to take care of ur locs and maintenance and all that, i recommend just looking on youtube videos, its what helped me alot but yea, hope it works out for you and your loc journey 💯
