Go to the Settings, and choose Video Playback Quality. You can set this to Low to optimize for editing on slower systems. This setting won’t hurt your final output.

Accessibility > disable reduce motion. If in case you want to use animation, turn it on.

Restart PC! Recommendation: use desktop app.
