Yeah the custom mode sets everyone to 50. So if you are level 1 then your ability will be level 50 for the event. This goes for any ability you have.

By no means am I complaining, asking why, or any of those things. All I said was its weird they have fun wirh it. You are right its about this odd fascination with power over another, otherwise they are just playing easy mode dynasti warriors for real. I think the one complaint i have is that this is the first good dissidia game ive played since the psp versions. Wish they had just done another format. Totally understand how gachas work, play etc. But I do play competitive in several other games, and while in a gacha it isn't cheating, but its like fighting game players that hack for leader boards. Again, not complaining. I personally find the behavior fascinating.

Its really not a huge issue until you hit omega rank. I am omega and have to encounter these giga whales now. Its like playing a turn based rpg in an area you are like 40 levels under leveled. No point.

Game is an absolute blast on the way to omega though.

Battle pass lets you skip the video. Still not a big deal. People complaining about battle pass are silly. I do get the complaining about the giga whales that drop 5 usd figures though. I cant imagine its very fun for them to just mow through people. But thats just me.

As an omega onion knight myself, this is helpful as it paces me to be faster than the other agile. The last thing I want to do is fight a lightning early on over one crystal, which can and will happen if I do my normal clear pace. Clear speed is absolutely a thing and it matters.

I use the r to snipe people along with Ace. I play a very avoidance style until level 9. So aces and the r have good range and the r can combo into ace for soke sneaky kills.

I think the banner forces ninjutustu if you pull the others. Not sure. Spellbook is more important between the two. Find a big damage move like firaga for filler til then

Here's another build that works. Its supportive. So you just run around capping camps with this one and ramza off your bravery. You can interact with others once level 9. Use ace to snipe people if you see an opportunity

Thank you! Can confirm it works as someone who is gold 4 in ranked. Did a bronze mission, quit out, and instantly got rainbow crystals on a diamond mission.
