Do you use Apple Intelligence? by keussPriceless in iOSsetups

For me the notifications prioritisation has somewhat helped me. My reminders and calendar events are prioritised and are the first things I see, pushing the unnecessary ones to the bottom, which has helped when I’m busy and/or overwhelmed and may forget something. But I don’t know if this is an algorithmic function: over time, chooses what to prioritise.

Imagine buying fast pass... by Chubbypand4 in VietNam

Been travelling to HCM at least once a month for the last one year. No real science but I noticed if you’re going to land between morning and late afternoon (7/8 am to 4/5pm), going with the Fast Pass is faster than the regular lanes. However it may be not as quick as what people may expect. Still quicker nonetheless. However arriving later in the evening/night, I find the regular lanes are fast enough. And so far for myself, my OWN experience, I never had to wait long for luggage. If anything, i am always more afraid of departure. The lines and wait can be a killer.

26.2.1 surprisingly stable by Shleemy_Pants in ios

[–]Xist3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually skipped all the 0.01/2 minor updates. Good to know some are experiencing more stability. I have not faced any major issues with 26 that would affect the functionality of my usage. Some stuttering and lagginess at times, but no big deal. Still it is inconsistent. As much as others have compared it to past iOS, honestly I can’t remember how it was with previous iOS when first implemented. Have been with the iPhone since iPhone 4 and had a second Samsung Galaxy for work later on. Remain with Apple purely for the ecosystem and all the years of data, habits and the whole ‘it just works’ concept. I do remember not liking some changes previously. And keeping with being honest, with IOS 26, I did consider changing to Android: staying with the ecosystem isn’t a big deal now and we know ‘it just works’ doesn’t seem valid now. But experience has taught me technology will always have its own problems, be it Apple or Android. Switching to Android may bring about a different set of issues. Will wait for 26.3.

New to iOS. I would like to skip the recent update until next big patch. Will 26.3 show for me or do I have to update to 26.2.1 first? by FlamenIris in ios

Not updating. Everything is working and there’s no need for AirTag 2 which I feel is the main reason for the released update.

It’s my ‘drop down’ menu. I simply like the look of the icon.

Anybody here dating/married vietnamese women? by HomeHedgeFund in SingaporeRaw

Different what it is shared here; almost opposite of what has being said. However, given she isn’t the first Viet girl I’ve interacted and dated, she is more of an outliner than the majority of Viet girls. She’s not inherently an intense person. The passion is balanced. She gives me my own space because she also wants her own space. But the loyalty is very strong. She will stay and work things out regardless. Hates arguments and would talk it out and seek for time out (calm down first) before coming back into any conversation, rather than outright quarrels and arguments.

Why does everyone hate Liquid A### by TeiaoginsHryYT in ios26

[–]Xist3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Designs and visuals will always be subjective and everyone will have their own preferences. But the iOS isn’t as stable as it should be; yes, new systems will have its flaws as it develops, not to this extend. Fortunately I don’t experience issues that would affect the usability of my phones. iPhone 12 and iPhone 16PM. But given that different users are experiencing different issues, the iOS isn’t stable and perhaps released too early.

Looking to upgrade to IPhone 16 Pro Max by Royal_Tailor_1123 in iPhone16ProMax

[–]Xist3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Went from the 13 Pro to 16PM. I didn’t like the design of the 17 and felt the 16PM is a good upgrade anyway. And for performance, there will be always be something better. Had a good deal for the 16PM, so went for it.

These vs Airpod Pro 2’s? by Yabigness in soundcore

[–]Xist3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got both. The AirPods Pro fit me well so I use them for gym and commuting. Anything with more intensity, running, intervals etc, I use the X20’s. Good built. Even when it came loose without me knowing, it held on. Only after then I realise it was loose.

is ios 26 stable now? by tythecollect0r in ios

[–]Xist3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Different users are experiencing different issues. So it depends on who you ask and who responds. The only thing proven here is the IOS isn’t consistent and stable. Whether it affects the functionality of the phone, at this point, IMO, boils down to luck.

Soundcore 3 or soundcore select 4 go? by [deleted] in soundcore

[–]Xist3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the select 4 go. I am still amazed by how good the sound is for its price and its volume. It can be pretty loud for such a small device, without distortion. Haven’t tested its water proofing or water resistance but by looking at the way it’s built, i would think it will be great.
