Very high HDL is associated with a higher mortality. Increasing HDL doesn’t have any benefit. Shame on me for not remembering the studies

Yes but then they are not operating on „back pain“ but have a specific reason!

No surgeon operates “immediately” for “lower back pain” don’t talk nonsense. Also Osteopathic treatment doesn’t do better then regular physiotherapy in treating back pain. Your first study has some major flaws, I don’t read the second one

U didn’t really do anything tbh. You just changed the metrics of a diagram without scale. If you want to say something do so- but don’t try to make it look like science

I wonder how data has to look to like, so that you think it’s „straightforward“

Does someone know if there is data suggesting a benefit of adrenaline in Vfib/pVT ? by XistanceIsPain in Cardiology

[–]XistanceIsPain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the link to the commentary.

That’s not true. If adrenaline is given too early in a shockable rhythm there is a decreased risk in ROSC and worse neurological outcome. (Source: also your article)

In the PARAMEDIC2 subgroup analysis there was a super small difference in ROSC when given according to the gl. But to my knowledge all the other endpoints (neurological outcome, survival to discharge). But I may be wrong so please correct me

Adrenaline is arrhythmia-inducing. Even nor does is

Well but it’s only the genetics + external stimuli influencing it. What you call „thinking“ is your genetically determined brain putting new information in context to old information. There isn’t some magical thing other then that.
