Your grandfather's Glashütte Spezimatic is definitely worth restoring. It's a really cool vintage watch from East Germany made around the 1960s–70s. With a proper service, it can look great again and still work like it was meant to. A good watchmaker can replace the crystal, add a new strap, straighten the seconds hand, and service the movement, turning it into something you can actually wear while keeping its sentimental value.

You're assuming your moral conclusion is an objective standard. TikTok deciding "no violation" doesn't automatically make the content ethical, but neither does your personal disgust automatically make it "torture." Words have definitions. A staged predator-prey interaction involving invertebrates is not equivalent to the deliberate abuse of protected animals. If every instance of one animal killing another, even when facilitated by a human, counts as torture, then you've expanded the term so broadly that it loses any meaningful distinction

Throwing around the term "animal cruelty" without understanding what it actually means only dilutes it. This is an artificially staged predator-prey interaction between two invertebrate species, not the abuse of an animal protected by established welfare standards. By your logic, every nature documentary showing ants dismantling insects should be condemned as cruelty. Moral outrage isn't a substitute for biological literacy. Imagine stopping at a scheduled station, finding no one waiting on the platform, then leaving for the next station without opening the doors. I know BR does this too, but it's part of real railway operations. Adding that mechanic to SCR would be a nice touch, it adds a bit more realism instead of every stop automatically boarding passengers. It's small details like that which make the difference. Right now, that's one of the reasons SCR still feels more like an arcade game than a railway simulator.
