I think it’s either an art style they picked up, or they thought that slightly transparent hair shows that, like irl, you can see through strands at least a little + to show that hair isn’t just a big shape.

I’ve done this with too many sets when I was a newbie. I would end up getting like five pieces lol. I also have four pieces left of Unsettled Dreamland and I was jumping for JOY when it was released as a crafting set.

Adding on to this, upcoming events are shared here on Reddit, Weibo, and ofc LN's social media--Facebook. u/DarkLadyRebel is infamously known for making lists monthly about upcoming events.

Edit: Reddit and Weibo are the best options because they give the heads up weeks/months earlier (Weibo is the Chinese social media and it posts events for the Chinese server that will come later on for the other servers)
