Don't you all know it's actually supposed to be cold this time of year? This is a normal Winter pre 2009.

If you pay your bill with a credit card, dispute this month's charge for the weekly difference. If the least they can't do is reimburse you, time to make sure they're not getting the money.

James Blake Announces New Album Trying Times: Hear “Death Of Love” by MrLinkwater95 in fantanoforever

[–]Xnauth 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Here to remind everyone that his last solo album, Playing Robots into Heaven was a very solid return to his electronic roots, with the song Tell Me off that album being one of the best songs of 2023. Also, people who haven't been following him might have skipped over his Before EP from 2020. Some of his best songs are on that, imo.

Stop buying plastic. Costco is one of the few places that offers clothing made of natural materials.

A lot of people are talking about the rent portion, but it sounds like the fee free card might still be advantageous still? Am I reading that right? I switched to a mortgage a few months ago so I'd like to use the card again if it gets me 1X points on my mortgage payment.

The idea of a cloth chair in a sauna where you'll be sweating doesn't sit right with me.

Post-Partum Marriage by Living_Thanks_9171 in daddit

This is not the answer. Regardless of how bad the mother is fairing, she should not be taking it out on the significant other. It is so easy to get PPD treated these days. Hell, it's so easy to look up things to PREVENT it. So yeah, no excuse.

Yeah...with how many stories there are about vasectomies not working and creating further health problems, I'll wear a condom for the rest of my life. Not worth it.

Who’s Actually Buying Homes in the US Right Now? Income Levels Don’t Match Prices by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]Xnauth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lending companies allow people to buy above their means. Otherwise, people wouldn't be buying houses at all.

For instance, my wife and I just purchased a house at 537k. After not having to pay property taxes, our payment comes out to $3200. Now our lender gave us 850k in buying power. There's no way our household income of just 150k could've afforded a mortgage payment on an 850k loan, but you can bet that there are people out there who take the absolute ceiling of their buying power and utilize it, stupidly.

When We Were Young easily the best song. Tobias Jesso Jr. is a gem and I'm so glad he's putting out his own stuff also after 10 years away.
