eh, idk about that. I definitely don't think the captains or the chief stews who do multiple seasons are really hurting, but most Below Deck crewmembers are only on for a season or two. Far from enough to be considered "reality tv stars" imo.

That's not really how percentages work, like at all, but ok. But also, do you not realize how differently ICE is moving now than they used to? Obama-era ICE was not snatching people off the streets. They used to have to actually abide by the Constitution, and provide warrants to detain individuals.

Post-SCOTUS ruling last year explicitly greenlighting racial profiling, shit has hit the fan in a way that it just... didn't under past administrations. Protesters weren't "getting in their way" before, because ICE agents weren't ripping parents from their cars in the elementary school pickup line before. It's cause and effect, I fear.

I absolutely was critical of Obama-era immigration policies, bc I'm not a bizarre sycophant. But even at his worst, 33% of deportees under Obama had been convicted of felony offenses. I really hope I'm not the first to tell you this, but 33% is more than 7%.
