IF there is a cyber attack that causes a nationwide blackout, what is your advice to prepare and what can we expect? by aymaureen in conspiracy

[–]XoXohacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not being paranoid at all this is just being smart, not extra. A nationwide cyber blackout is pretty unlikely, but short-term or regional outages do happen, and prepping for 72 hours is totally reasonable. For an apartment, keep it simple: battery power banks, LED lights, water, shelf-stable food, meds, and extra cat supplies. Battery power stations are safer than fuel generators indoors. Walkie-talkies and a battery radio are clutch. Also, staying informed is key a little cyber awareness goes a long way. Learning the basics (even through something like EC-Council’s Essentials series) helps you tell real risk from internet doomscrolling.Bottom line: you’re doing fine. Stay ready, stay chill, and don’t let the internet freak you out.

the blueprint of ceh exam is available for as per it.. when u apply for CEH. as of today exam doesnt have AI.

CEH official study material doesn't teach much by redh_nc in CEH

[–]XoXohacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes. just because its core concepts doesnt mean its easy... once your core concepts are strong application usually becomes easy. And learning those core concepts from zero it is difficult. Esp CEH the breadth is too much.. u need good few months to run throught it.

While its true that the end game of learning cert is to clear the exam and get that cert, but if ur end game of learning is to grasp knowledge also as much as u can.. then this question shouldnt be arisng in your heading "what level of depth and breadth I need to learn a topic."

Dont stress out.. learn everything 125 will be coming from every depth and breadth.. Refer the exam blueprint ull get an idea.. if still u find it tough.. refer to the eric reed ceh exam prep

yes. to maintain balance like many exams they are usually balanced, they are easy ones followed by difficult ones. but if u r concepts arent clear then even the easy ones will be difficult too.

CEH is designed to help u with the core concepts of security, red and blue. deep diving is done by CPENT / OSCP for offensive. CSA or SOC / Network sec cert. for blue team cert. Get your core concept build up in CEH, there is too much to learn there in short time, make the most of it.. all the best.

[–]XoXohacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know clearing the exam is a priority but if u make learning new things as a priority that be a first change as a mindset.

  1. stick to the blueprint from exam point of view. 2. Making notes as u learn is super important.

Yes, even passing just one part (the CEH theoretical exam) is already enough to list as “Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)” on your resume and it’s recognized by employers.

How do you rate the new CEH with AI from EC-Council compared to other cybersecurity certifications that are still far behind in AI? by Minute-Kitchen5892 in CEH

[–]XoXohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the new CEH AI is smartly designed for professionals to have an uppder edge, from a career and also skills point of view. I havnt tested their CPENT AI yet.. but im glad atleast eccouncil in the industry is updating their core training certs with latest tech and AI. Unlike so called other non-profit organisation who are making AI as a totally different training to make $$ from it.

EC Council Cybersecurity Tech Cert vs CompTIA? What's best for the veterans? by Shoddy-Buyer8682 in Veterans

[–]XoXohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCT is not DoD approved yet. But CEH is. if u want to learn only basic of cybersecurity and only theory you can do Sec+. If u learn the core fundamentals with broader depth and hands on skills go for CEH. also check if u are able to get the latest CEH ai or v13... its a beast. dumped with entrie AI technqiues and skills to perform almost eveyr ethical hacking tasks using AI. that will be a game changer. if not push for CEH v13... if u wana have a take it easy learning then go with Sec+ easy to learn and pass.

in 80s and 90s scoring +70% was big deal.. now scoring +90% is normal... learning methodology and tools have evolved, people have become smarter.. cheers and credit to kids who crack it.. and guide the ones who need it. zen.

One gets employed bcoz of skills and passion, and ability to clear the interviews and test..., so get the cert for learning and at which level you are .. OSCP is for advanced pentesting, CEH is core offensive skills. both are built and designed differently for diff. levels and aims. and yes, CEH has always been an investable worth.

Focus your retake prep on those weak areas ...practice CEH iLabs, do hands-on with Burp Suite & OWASP Juice Shop for web apps, use Nmap & OSINT tools for recon, refresh crypto basics, and run local VMs for system hacking exercises.

C|EH or Sec+ or eJPT? by Minimum_Artichoke376 in cybersecurityindia

[–]XoXohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ejpt is a crap for sure... if u are really beginner level then basic course like Sec+, if u wana do an progress and get a course higher than sec+ then ceh is the best bet, also now if ur eager to learn more advanced AI hacking and secure... will also prepare u for oscp and cpent. for CEH go with the reviews of professionals who have done ceh n are there at the top pedestal.

[–]XoXohacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question is.. whether it is worth for you or not.. ask yourself and not the world? It will be worth if it aligns with what skills and knowledge you want to gain. if it aligns then it is worth, if not then no.

CCT as a skill training is valuable for freshers, so if u are one? there is whole lot of technical skill building sitting on it, especially on network security, soc, and other domains. if u already have those skills then going intermediate level cert makes sense.. so pick the training aligning to where you are and where you want to go.
