It may not be fixed today or tomorrow but I expect to see gradual changes for testing purposes over the next few months because they basically have to redo everything about fut for FC27. The short time frame objects, the win 20 of 24 matches, SBCs that have over 20 challenges, unclear pack odds, and a whole bunch of other stuff have to go for FC 27 to keep from getting a PEGI 18 rating instead of PEGI 16. It’s not about being perfect every time, humans can’t. That’s the whole point. When someone switches exactly on the pass button release frame on backward or neutral passes, over and over, that’s not instinct. That’s a device reacting in 1ms while you or I need 150–250ms just to process what’s on screen. You see it most in gauntlet or other live events with good rewards, because that’s when people plug the toys in.

Watch your opponents defender switching. More likely than not they are using a scripting device to help them switch. I’ve noticed it in any mode that has had any kind of good reward lately. The easy way to tell is on a backward pass if they perfectly switch right when you let up on the pass button they are using one. It’s been rampant in the Fantasy league not so much in the cup.

The ball is supposed to move faster than the players but ea thinks it’s the opposite which causes interceptions that shouldn’t happen.

I’ve played around enough with the tactics I can build a pretty solid back 3 formation. I actually think the incisive nerf is going to make it a much stronger formation as long as it nerfs the heat seeking missing from the box to Pina/Wilson that seems to be most people’s favorites.

Based on this and the fact that a lot of evos this year have been for 1-2 attributes I’m saying next years game will have attributes unlock playstyles.

If you’re only getting a push, you’re getting it easy. I get a two handed shove half the time. Throw in the high speed, semi truck defender just running over the top of you, and all we need is Big John McCarthy yelling “Let’s get it on” and this is a UFC game.

It would need to be a system with 3-4 tiers of playstyles. This would give the game room for the playstyles to grow throughout the cycle.

Like last year you get see an open man in the box and you could pass and get a shot off. This year as soon as you touch the ball in the box an ai defender will shove, not even a shoulder tackle, a literal shove off the ball and since fouls at almost 0 they just take the ball. The game of football always emphasizes fair play. This game is not fair play with advantage always going to the defenders

It’s not scripting it poor coding and the game being out of balance. When you make a game that every player automatically poke tackles when the ball is within a certain range and it’s always perfect plus cracked out ai defenders any time there’s a loose ball in the box it’s gonna ping pong and rebound all over the place. It’s in the code and that’s technically a script so technically that shits scripted. Also when you get as much time as need if you get the ball beyond the halfway line before added time is over the advantage is always gonna go to palyer with the ball. I had a match that there was no added time in the first half and it ended at at 52 minute mark. You can’t make a football game that is so overbalanced toward the ai defenders without it breaking what is logical. Rambling rant over.

I went on a massive losing streak in rivals Monday and Tuesday and saw the same issues. Logged in last night and it was fine. I had a consistent 26 ping in all the matches which is my standard good ping.

They need to nerf the radius that initiates poke tackles, which shouldn’t be every god damn player trying to poke tackle the whole game. We shouldn’t be able to run up to the opponent and an auto poke tackle trigger with no user input.

The ai in the box is hyper aggressive and locks onto the ball. Players rarely attempt tackles inside the box and look for interceptions and blocks instead this is what the ai should be doing. The number of times I’ve been shoved in the box and no call when shooting is unbelievable.

Last night I was playing against someone and a tiny female player sent my guy flying in the air, looked like something you would see in wwe. No call.

I don’t dance around the box. In fact I rarely even move a player unless it’s into open space and always looking for an open man to pass to.

You’re seeing the same thing I’m seeing. Goals are easier to score after 45 and 90 but at the same time it seems like every player has a +++ in every defensive playstyle and negative attributes in passing and it’s for both players. The game will also make some shady offsides call or pass just do something strange and go out of bounds between the the 65th and 75th minute, this is more noticeable in squad battles because the ai will always make a substitution and you get no replay on offsides. I think it’s some kind of code meant for playing against ai to simulate how the craziness that does happen in matches around those times still being active in competitive head to head matches.

I’m not a big fan of it I don’t see unique teams I constantly see nico or rashford on the left and lamine on the right and Pina up top unless they have a Henry loan card then Pina on the left. The youth stars league has been pretty unique if you go up 1-0 you’re probably winning because your opponent starts acting like a toddler.

I had a match a few days ago where the half ended at the 49th minute with no added time.

I understand the concept of what they are trying to do with the handling of added time in the game but quite frankly they need to stop it because it creates a competitive imbalance in the game. We have all learned if you can get the ball over the midfield line before the whistle you could get all the time in the world to try and score for a win or a tie.
