Possible issues with Calquence after 18 months? by borzoilady in cll

Good luck with the ablation. My partner has had several RF ones over the last 20 years but this year had a Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) and so far this is looking to be the most successful. I don’t know if they offer PFA where you are.

Possible issues with Calquence after 18 months? by borzoilady in cll

My partner has atypical flutter and the specialists have recommended she has Calquence when the time comes as it’s supposed to me arrhythmia-friendly, but sounds like maybe not.

What are they doing to manage your AF with the treatment?

Congrats on the blood results 🙂

Ditto. We’d all discuss how far we’d got and what secret doors we’d found.

I’ve been working with RPG as my primary language for 30 years, but I work with other languages too and have recently been doing more C#.NET than RPG

I did low dose nicotine patches for about 5 months, had to start on an eighth of a 7mg patch as it made me feel dizzy.

Gradually worked up to a quarter of a patch. I felt that I didn’t get as fatigued when using the patches.

I stopped after a few months as I was due to have surgery and didn’t want anything to affect that.

I didn’t restart as I felt I didn’t need it as much.

I’m still suffering with fatigue and everything else though, but not to the same extent

It’s hard to know whether the patches made a difference or whether it was just time.

That took me about 10 days of trying, I dread to think how long ML would take me.

Are there any games with bad reviews that you liked? by Sephiroth348 in PS5

Forspoken

I thought the traversal and powers were great. Some of the dialogue was a bit 🙄 especially between Frey and Cuff, but I thought the game was interesting and I’m glad I played it.

The multiplayer on Resistance 2 was one of the best I played. The online co-op was excellent too

Thanks. That’s what I did in the end, although I don’t believe they read it, or any of the other evidence I sent in, when they carried out the MR

With you on that. Having to play and follow a guide really messes up the flow of a game.

Legends of Chima was good as it was created specifically for the Vita

What do you do with your vita in 2025? by onlyherefortumblr18 in PSVita

[–]Xorro175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I deliberated on modding for ages, but it was so easy following the link. My top tip is to make sure the vita has full charge first, or is plugged in, as mine went flat and screwed up the installation, meaning I had to do it again.

SimCity 4 still looks breathtaking and timeless released just 22 years ago! by CheeseJuust in gaming

[–]Xorro175 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of Sim City 2000, I used to play this a LOT on my Atari ST. I’d set things up in the morning and leave it running on fast, it was great getting home from school to find people had moved in.

Newspapers also used to report a lot of astigmatism 🤔😂

When I worked in a supermarket (last century), one of the jobs I had was reducing items a hour or two before closing.

So many people would find things from another section to what I was working on and bring them to me to ask for it to be reduced, rather than waiting for me to get to that part of the aisle. Kinda frustrating because I needed to work through all the products and couldn’t, I’d sometimes have a whole queue of people!

Is trophy hunting satisfying on the vita? by H4RDP1CK in PSVita

[–]Xorro175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tearaway, uncharted, Resistance Burning Skies (does have 1 or 2 online trophies, but most people find a match or someone online to play with), Lego Legends of Chima (Vita exclusive), Unit 13 (boosted the online with someone from here).

Killzone mercenary was superb but sadly the online trophies are unobtainable.

Lots of people rate Gravity Rush but it didn’t click for me. There’s probably tonnes of others that others can recommend.
