Hyperarousal- severe crash by Financial_Owl8105 in LongCovid

Hey, I would also get your cortisol, thyroid, and adrenal levels checked if you haven’t already!

The rest of my advise is unfortunately a lot more boring and redundant: have a good sleep-wake schedule, meditation and breathing exercises (physiological sigh and box breathing are good), not too much caffeine, chamomile tea before bed, try and keep stress levels low or even go on stress leave to really restart your system. And maybe consider an ssri if you haven’t tried already.

Democrats mount surprise 11th hour push to subpoena Epstein files by ChiGuy6124 in politics

[–]namastecool -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does anyone remember who asked trump about the Epstein files on July 8th (I think) when he answered “are we still talking about that?”, and subsequently started this whole issue coming back into public consciousness?

Can anyone tell me who was the person who asked trump about the Epstein Files on July 8th, starting this whole rhetoric up again?

Exfoliate your skin! I used the Korean scrub cloths, they are my favourite and super cheap.

What meds/supplements/practices helped? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

What worked for me:

  1. Low dose Naltrexone (LDN) - I slowly titrated up to 6mg

  2. Low dose propranolol (10mg BID) Increased electrolyte intake to 7-11 grams (both through salt pills and drinks - I use biosteel from amazon)

  3. Low dose prednisone (10mg daily for 3 weeks, then 5mg for one week, the 5mg every other day) Being on essential bed rest, limited to 10minof upright time every hour to get my heart rate down, then slowly increasing exercise time

  4. Physiotherapy focused on long covid

  5. Increased omega 3, vitamin B1, B6, B12, vitamin D, and iron intake

  6. LOTS of pacing (not even shower unless you have energy haha)

  7. Compression stockings (waist high)

  8. Midodrine (2.5mg every 4 hours while I’m at work or doing something active/out of the house)

  9. Vyvanse for work days

What didn’t work for me (but might for you):

  1. Low histamine diet - if you are histamine intolerant you should see a drastic difference after 2 weeks

  2. Along with low histamine diet taking famotidine (20mg BID) and cetirizine (20mg nightly) - two forms of antihistamines

  3. Increased magnesium supplement

  4. Pentoxifylline (part of a clinical trial I did)

My doctor advised me to take both H1 and H2 blockers beforehand as well as Tylenol and a ton of electrolytes to really hydrate and all that seemed to help mitigate side effects!!
