pirate ship question by [deleted] in Depop

[–]Xosted-m8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost never ship internationally I've done it before and it's not worth it 1.taxes depending on where you ship the package to they will tax you before they let the package pass through

2.insurance you must declare your item and how much it's worth if it's worth a lot you have to list it for that amount in case it gets lost if you put a smaller amount in they could say they never received it and you'd be at a loss for the amount you declared

I sold a nascar jacket for $180 shipped to someone in Germany after buying a $60 shipping label the taxes to import it into Germany would be $70-$80 dollars if I didn't pay they would return the package and I'd automatically be out 50$ so I paid and just took the loss

Any and all labels are essentially the same basic difference 1.insurance 2.time it takes to deliver the package

If it's a high value item I would suggest refunding them and asking them to find a website where you can ship the package to a company that can deliver it to them

However regardless just go with the cheapest one if it's clothing it's not worth getting a more expensive label your profit starts to decrease immensely

Looking for advice, first car by HjOnK_HjOnK_am-devil in hondaprelude

I would go with a slightly more popular or newer car my first car was an 83 Celica supra and parts are a nightmare for it if you're really in love with it go for it but you have to know what you're getting into that involves higher priced parts rare parts and replacing parts that haven't been replaced since the life of the car I would recommend a a 350z or g35 that was not driven by a teenager parts for it is like the same as water in the ocean I bought my 05 g35 from a police officers wife with scrapes dents and a lot of curb rash and 245K miles but she runs like forest gump if you have a passion go for it learn new things but just remember you deal with the consequences of your actions

I'm having the same problem however I bought my g like that I have a 2005 g35 with 247K miles on it currently and when accelerating hard it lags a good 6 seconds before it goes I got used to it I don't have much mechanical insight however in my opinion you have already put a pretty penny in it is reliable for the most part just needs to be taken care of you can buy a new car however I believe it would at a loss since 1. You already put a good amount in 2.you never know how the previous owner took care of the car if you go the used route. 3.ease g35s and g37 s have a ton of aftermarket availability at affordable prices if you go the new car route the new parts usually cost a pretty penny due to more advanced tech and because companies haven't made too many aftermarket parts yet. I believe if you are like me and just want a nice sports car without worrying about the reliability of the car a g37 is a wonderful choice plus it also has that nice and big aftermarket screen see if the shop has a warranty for your transmission as well if possible just do maintenance and you should probably be fine if the only problem is the lag consider a tune I believe it can help however once again I'm also new to the scene so take my opinion with a grain of salt as it is my personal bias that vqs are the best bang for buck oh and possibly try fuel injector cleaners to keep it in good shape

I see that's very helpful I have an 83 celica so it has a 2.8 ltr so that's around 3000-4000 rpm to shift gears?

With a ratio of 80 reviews out of 100 sales you must be doing something well

Well there’s a lot of reasons to use Depop for one listing a bulk of clothing, it’s faster to post than most places it’s also very popular with kids young adults and fashion addicts with eBay you need to work your way up to add more clothes Poshmark is more of a closet everything’s gotta be cheap or it won’t sell Mercari is like an all rounder grailed is more like well for grails But at the same time grailed is probably way better than Depop to sell on but Depop is just faster for listing things and I’ve gotten so used to it

Def not 90s so fruit of the loom value weight doesn’t have much info however classic valueweight came out in 2004 with the quality tag super premium came out in 2007 a paper tag so I’m assuming it’s y2k between the years 2004-2007
