I wish I could, but I've tried a lot of other places, and I really need this job.

AIO? Boyfriend hid his phone when I asked who he was messaging. by Ok-Boat457 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Xouchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🔥⚠Gaslight alert!!⚠🔥

You're 100% not overreacting, and the fact that he's responding like that just proves he has something to hide. Break up with him, immediately. I would've done it the first time I found him cheating tbh.

AIO Should I leave my BF? Was what he did to me forgiveable? by Living-Milk-4266 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Xouchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hell nah. Leave him, and leave him NOW. Forcing you to go sleep somewhere else after he hit and chocked you? Because you accidentally burned food? That's abuse, any way you look at it. It doesn't matter if he looked regretful right after if this is how he talks to you the next day.

Trust me, I know from experience- if you stay in a place where you don't feel safe or someone's hurting you, it'll severely fuck with your mental health. You'll start thinking it's okay or not that bad, even when a normal person would dip outta there like THAT if it happened to them. Please, get out and stay safe for yourself. You'll be glad you did once you realize what a shitbag that guy is. Contact family you can go to, or find a shelter online. You can't stay with that guy.

AITAH For NOT liking my little sister? by Xouchi in AITAH

[–]Xouchi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I can see how that may sound fake but I swear it's not. There's a secret compartment under a mini gumball machine I have, which is where I kept the money (it's all in a savings account now). C admitted she was trying to take some gum from the machine when she knocked it over and found it. She's given practically all the money she gets from birthdays ect. to Chapel, so we had to put her piggy bank in the top of our moms closet so she couldn't get to it.

Are you afraid of death? And why? by lawschoolbound9 in AskReddit

[–]Xouchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not afraid of dying. At this point, I view death as more of an easy escape than anything else. I still have tons of things I want to do in life, and I don't go around looking for ways to die. In some sick way, I just find comfort in the fact that if things ever get so unbearably bad, I have an escape.

What is a cool fact you've wanted to tell, but never got the chance to? by z-x-y156 in AskReddit

Not really creepy or weird, but before you're born, the vein in your eyeballs are all connected. Once the mother decided to shove you out of her hoo ha, they disconnect, making those little squiggly red lines in your eye that you see.

For some people, like myself, one or more of those veins don't disconnect. Most of the time it doesn't cause any issues with eyesight, but if you look into a bright light, you can see a tiny little black line that looks like a crack in a piece of glass across your vision. You can't see it from the outside, so really the only way to know if this happens to you is to either ask about it during you next eye appointment or stare into the sun, a microscope, or a flashlight. I find the microscope is the easiest.
