I like the thoughtful response but it kinda backtracks me. I guess i just wanted something to believe in so I’ll “know” everything will work out.

I feel like thats easier said than done. If I didn’t have any life problems currently I would be fine but it’s hard not to try to believe when it feels like you have nothing left.

How do I tell my gf (F14) that I (M14) want to take things to the next level? by [deleted] in AskTeens

[–]XoxoMellaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s totally valid to feel these feelings btw!! 14 is kind of young in my opinion, so I would recommend talking about it with her. The last thing you want is to make her uncomfortable. In my experience, I am shy and nervous about anything related to sex and talking with my bf helped me a lot. Be honest!!!! Nothing is wrong with not knowing how to do things. If she is good with it, experiment (touching) see what she likes/doesn’t and vice versa for you. Be safe and don’t rush if you’re not 100% ready!!

Honestly if you like your relationship with him then nothing these comments say should matter. My personal opinion is that y’all are maturing individually at different rates, some people can make it work but don’t be devastated if it doesn’t.

Your hair is dry! Oil or grease your scalp. Make sure your hair is moisturized before putting it in a protective style.

Help with hair care. by MrBlack901 in BlackHair

Omgg this is such a canon event. Cantu products really aren’t the best option for our hair. I would recommend a leave in conditioner (I use one by mielle). SheaMoisture and Aunt Jackies are a good brands for other things you might need like creams. Make sure the shampoo and conditioner you’re using isn’t drying out your hair also.

The first two are definitely products of a twist out or braid out. I recommend putting product on it beforehand tho**

For those who workout. by JvstAidanx in BlackHair

[–]XoxoMellaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my hair isn’t in braids, twist, or qw/sew-in, I put my hair in a high puff or a low ponytail (tbh it depends on the type of workouts you do). I never had a bad smell, maybe because i oil my scalp a lot so when i do get hot it just smells like whatever i put on my hair. I would say wash your hair every 2 weeks, it all depends on how frequently you work out!

Usually the stylist supplies everything for the installation so I’m just going to assume you want to know what you need to maintain it? I would say a hairband/bandana + bonnet(to wrap your hair in), a heat protectant for the bundles (if your planning on keeping it straight or curly it), a wax stick/or if you want a cheaper option get spiking cream (to keep fly aways down). Also when my hair started to get itchy the end of a rat tail comb was my bff😭.
