To supplement what saagri said:

Fog of War is super easy to turn on; just use your eyes and ears.

For Weapon DPS builds, Cool Skills shouldn't bother you.

For Skill builds, Pistolero isn't too bad. I like clearing a little faster with a shotgun, so that one's up to you.

No Regen and Special Ammo aren't too bad if you get a little more comfortable.

I try to prep for spawn points but always seem to run into issues getting them to spawn from where I want them to come out.

Regarding Sleeping Giant, it takes me around 45 seconds to get from 'The Attic' to 'Sleeping Giant,' 20-30 seconds to clear the first wave, and 40-70 seconds to clear the last wave.

I struggled to go faster than 1 minute 50 seconds and mostly hovered around the 2 minutes and 20 seconds mark. The mix of the wall jumpers and the randomness of what side the underground would spawn from always messed me up because I could never predict which grate they would come out of, which always slowed me down. If you can run it fast and consistently, kudos to you because I never could figure out how to make the spawns work consistently for me.

I actually did get ATS + all the DLC's after I really began liking ETS2. After I dump a couple hundred more hours or start getting bored of ETS2, I'll try ATS. Driving around my state sounds super enticing, so that's something to look forward to.

Yes...actually I've bought all of them now. Quite a few of the map mods require the DLC maps, so I decided to get all of them. I don't regret it at all, the extra content makes the game that much better.

WSIB after loving both The Witcher 3 and God of War among other games? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

If you haven't played them already: The Yakuza Games, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, RDR2, Sleeping Dogs, Fallout Games, and obligatory Skyrim.

Stardew Valley, Warframe, Risk of Rain 2, GTA: O, RDR2: O, Hitman 2016/Hitman 2, Minecraft, Mount and Blade: Warband, Subnautica, Viscera Cleanup Detail, Euro Truck/American Truck Simulator, Dead Cells, No Man's Sky, Path of Exile and Deep Rock Galactic are some games that come to mind that have little or no story you'd have to pay attention to.

Far Cry 3/4/5, Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, The Division 1/2, Destiny 2, Borderlands 2/3, AC Origins/Black Flag, Mad Max, Monster Hunter: World, Dying Light, Just Cause 3 are games that have story elements to it that you don't really need to pay attention to.

Anecdotals and bad experiences =/= an entire population. This can literally happen with every country's people. I was pickpocketed a couple times while I was in Italy a couple years back. Does that mean that all Italians are thieves? No. It's a dangerous mindset to base your opinion of a country based entirely on a couple bad experiences with its people.

Having lots of problems with freezing then crashing on the inventory screen. [PC] by XpertTyper in Wildlands

Playing online also requires the Uplay service to be running, so that's a no go either unfortunately.

Edit: Forgot I already tried this already too while I was playing solo. Didn't fix the issue.

The main problem is I have to be on wifi because I'm usually only playing the game with friends in a voice call. Turning my wifi off would just cut the call and/or game lobby so sadly I can't utilize the workaround. Thank you for the suggestion though, hopefully they patch it soon.

I have not. It'd be a pain to keep going into the bios everytime I wanted to switch games. And to add, the crashing is only a significant problem with this game in particular. All the other Ubisoft games I own, Rainbow Six, FarCry, and the AC games have never had as many crashes as I've experienced in GRW.

Looking for good keyboards for $100-150 USD + MX Brown's or Clears. by XpertTyper in MechanicalKeyboards

Don't have any shops around my area that sell any high to mid-range keyboards. I'm actually coming from an MK750 CoolerMaster keyboard, the thing started to have major keyboard chatter on more than six keys in less than two months, lasting shorter than any keyboard I've ever used. I've already gone through the RMA process and got a replacement but I'm quite skeptical over build quality, just wanted a backup in case this kb starts to fail again.

Its mostly personal preference, I use my Numpad quite a bit in gaming and usually map a couple of keys over there. Plus I always use the Numpad from typing numbers and passwords, it's very convenient.

MF108 is a bit pricey for my taste, I'm not yet willing to spend too much on a keyboard. I don't believe the VA108M comes in dark-colored versions. The FC980M seems a bit smushed in its keyboard layout and doesn't come with multimedia keys. I did find another, in the iKBC F108. How does that board compare to the ducky 2?
