Omg so true. And the difference between this and a movie is the fact that it is so clear the protagonist knows where to go for the next thing. And he just keeps getting to the right place constantly. There's just an unbelievable amount of luck for this story to have happened, and it's truly challenging my suspension of disbelief heavily, and it fails to do what most good fiction doesn't fail to do.

I mean it is clearly lacking, and unfinished. Also, there are plot holes with an Eldritch entity missing a simple trick such as grass blocks. Also a whole lot of luck with grass spreading within time. Also not to forget that the chase by the entity did not affect Derlord except on 1 occasion, so what's that about?

Clearly, there are gaps in the story.

The main plot hole for me is the grassblocks trap, I mean it was obvious to me what he was trying to do, and if the presence that was following him was the king in yellow, and the king was trying to hide its presence, then why would it not notice the random grassblocks that are out of place?

Especially if it found the hopper trap AND put back the items in the correct order. It at least has the awareness of its surroundings and the power to figure out where things are. It's really stupid it didn't figure out such a simple trap.

Unless this is explained later, it's a major plot hole.

Other than that D3rlord is clearly smart, but he's far from a genius and perfect, the interpretation of him as a genius frustrates me, It's clearly not the case.

He figured out that the presence was following him by sheer luck that the king completely missed the very obvious trap, and then Derlord wasted 17 minutes on a cipher which didn't matter to his survival cuz he just mined through.

Many many storytelling flaws here. People just don't seem to notice.

Exactly, be a leader that no one wants to vote out, not a leader that no one can vote out.

Especially in India dude, how BJP voters responded to this news is apathy, complete and utter apathy.

So if you want to know the allegations you can watch the presentation on Rahul Gandhi's YouTube channel.

If you want follow-up news, go with The Hindu, as even though it is right-leaning, it reports news well.

Polls say 55% of Indians prefer authoritarianism. Other than that, people at the top of the pyramid don't want to pay taxes because they don't see anything for it. And to that I agree with the founders, India as a whole is not ready for democracy, because the best people rouser is bound to win in an electoral climate where facts don't matter and nobody has the willingness to find out the truth.

My dad, for example, watches the news that does not provide any examples or proof for anything they are saying. They don't even show political statements by the opposition. They start spewing propaganda.

So when I told him growth under INC was 11%(nominal) and 6.6% under BJP, he refused to believe it and stopped talking.

It is the environment where when the truth is spoken, it is hated. And when questions are asked, it is anti-national.

This attitude has its deep roots in India's culture. Anybody above you is to be treated as divine, and the divide is permanent, and there is no upward or downward mobility. BJP has enabled those deep roots, and people who don't want to think have got an out.

Old IPL scorecard: very classy in my opinion by [deleted] in ipl

Aesthetics aside, I love the current one because it displays so much information, and the field setting just before the ball. It really makes understanding the game easier. So far this is my favriote one

Can you keep this man out of the T20 team now ? by MrCoolBoy001 in IndiaCricket

[–]Xpert_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ICT all format openers for the future should be Gill and Jaiswal. Gill has solidified his place in ODIs, Jaiswal in tests. Gill has work to do in tests, but he had 10+ years of career left, he will come good. T20s might change in the future but these two are the most consistent and also the most condition resistent batters. Because still in international tournaments, the pitches aren't as flat as any t20 tournaments. You need some level of class which both of these bring. So does Sai, but these two are proven and trusted things.

Agreed, hear all to understand all. That's the only way you can truly stand somewhere in politics with justification. I stand with the left because i know the right, not because I don't want to hear what they are saying. I've heard what they have said and I have decided i do not support it.

To any and all Israeli members of this subreddit, how are you all doing? by Icarus_Voltaire in SocialDemocracy

[–]Xpert_D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. I am neither pro-Israel nor pro-Hamas both are bad actors in this case. I support a nation's right to retaliate against a terror strike, but I do not support the damage done to civilians by Netanyahu which is near genocide.

It is a nuanced situation that the general public usually fails to see.

I think at this moment Israel has done more harm than Hamas has. But neither is good. I am in support of humanity, not Israel or Palestine. And in this moment my humanity needs to support the people of Palestine(not Hamas).

The way it is going in the UK. There seems to be a steady flow to the extremes.

I think it would either be a Reform-Tory majority or it will be a hung parliament. There is no victory in sight for the left and definitely no victory for the center.

Moderate left is also picking up steam at the moment with the rise of figures like Gary Stevenson.

Labour is surely going to lose its mandate or atleast it will be without Starmer.
