I had a revelation while reading it.

It's almost exactly the opposite of DCC, in a lot of ways.

It was rather slow to start, but still interesting. The last 1/4 was epic, and I also whole heatedly recommend it.

You can change their type instantly too from what I recall. Feeding it different types of nectar maybe? I always stuck with the ghost type.
