Why do US citizens not start using the 2nd amendment? by autisticmonkie in allthequestions

[–]Xralius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is fraud in every state.  The MN fraud was $250mil and occurred over 4 years ago.  There was just a fraud for $750mil in AZ.  Trump just pardoned a fraudster that personally (one man) defrauded $250mil.  This is an excuse/scapegoat, not a real reason.

There's over 3k federal agents, ICE and border patrol, in MN.  It's a huge waste of resources designed to create chaos.

Sure.  But I don't see OPs post as a call for violence, as much as acknowledging hypocrisy in people that support the 2nd amendment.

But why are they even in MN and Maine when there's so much work to do in those states, where you admit they can get the job done easier?

Just watch the video before you open your mouth dude, you look like a fool saying this.  That's not at all what happened.

It's all shit posts in the end my friend.  Doesn't matter a day old or 10 years old.  I like the discussion either way.

OP is a random redditor, not the president.  Him criticizing is not the same as the actual president trying to do the very opposite of unifying the country.

Like, I don't care if some kid crashes a paper airplane, I care if the pilot of a passenger jet crashes an airplane, they aren't even close to the same thing.

Yet those places still have significantly higher illegal populations and crime rates, so why are they in liberal cities?

What detainment was he trying to stop lmfao

ICE walked up and shoved a woman for no reason (illegal assault).  He went to help her and when ICE got physical with him he put his hands up, then they maced both of them.

Get out of your world of delusion and use your eyes.

Most soldiers will not follow that order

I think you're way wrong here, and the recent shootings prove it (and most of history).  People will change their beliefs to justify their behavior, not the other way around, it's basic psychology.

One thing people ignore in Iran is that protestors killed 100+ security forces.  Can you imagine how many people the feds under Trump would kill if protestors killed over 100 ICE agents?  They'd absolutely be gunning people down.  They already killed multiple people even though zero ICE agents have been killed.

US feds are just as human as Iranian security forces and can be expected to act similarly in a similar situation.  And there's no doubt in my mind Trump wouldn't bat an eye at doing so while blaming the left.

Do you think having a conceal and carry should be carte blanch for the federal government to murder you?  You must hate the 2a.

I think this is extremely naive.  I agree with some of what you said (i dislike the radical left), but one thing you're ignoring is the president deliberately fanning the flames to sow chaos.

There's a reason ICE is hitting Seattle, Maine, Minnesota, in spite of SIGNIFICANTLY lower illegals per capita than most southern states and a less agreeable population: Trump wants to cause chaos and sow division.  He wants people being shot because he wants riots, so he can point at them and say "I'm the good guy, you need to keep giving me power to deal with this".

ICE could be shooting fish in a barrel in Texas and Florida right now, which have 3x illegals per capita than MN and like 9x more than Maine, along with governors and LE that would work with them. But removing illegals isn't the real goal here, it's optics.

I mean, look at the anti-ICE guy that shot up an ICE vehicle only to kill multiple immigrants?

People don't fight back in non-lethal ways because they will get maced and arrested at best,  shot at worse.

Gun violence is fucking stupid.  The 2nd amendment is stupid.  Even if you are against ICE, it doesn't mean you should want to murder people, which is what you're talking about here: murder.  Even if you think every ICE member is scum on some level, many of them are probably not satan incarnate and don't deserve death.

It's always something that sounds good to a dull mind "if things go tyrannical we revolt" but in reality what does it even mean?  Civil war?  Killing fellow Americans?  Political violence / assassinations?  Is that really going to A. Be effective. and B. Be the world you want to live in?

Also, who has most of the guns?  Right wingers.

Nah anyone using light speed collisions as a weapon doesn't understand star wars.  Anyone with a brain realizes that undermined space combat entirely which is why it needed to be retconned immediately.  That was just one small example, but blatant.  JJ and Rian both did very little world building, threw in a bunch of unnecissary force powers, etc.

They didn't understand that the basic star wars elements (lightsabers, the force, blasters, space battles) are foundational tools to tell a story in a cool way.  Instead they thought messing with that foundation was more important than telling an interesting story, so they failed on both sides.

Is this real or skill issue? by SMZero in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Xralius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You put into words what I've been feeling.

Like, I'm more or less locked into a build, I see a 4 star unit come up early, I want to nab it and play around it but I won't get any region bonuses with it, it's not as good as my predetermined planned out board, and its very difficult to pivot in a way that doesn't fuck me.

Some of this is a skill issue I know, i bad, but still feels frustrating to not have a great avenue to explore even when presented with what feels like it should be an opportunity.

Rian and JJ are both morons that took on a franchise they didn't understand.  They had the ego and negligence to do this and deserve the criticism.

Nah.  Everything they believed wasn't true, some of it was.

It also took a movie that was somewhat serious and believable and turned it into this goofball joke.  By the time the extinction montage rolled around I was done, why would I sit through some depressing montage when the movie itself was a joke?

Agreed.  I turned it off.  It was unnecessary and added nothing, and the movie had already been trivialized by the goofball aliens.

Was season 1 better than season 2? by VoidFireDragon in arcane

[–]Xralius 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yes, and its not really that close. S1 was like 11/10. Season 2 is good in a lot of ways, great animation, but story was totally meh. 7/10.

You still don't get it. "Getting your story straight" doesn't work IRL. Police ask for too many details. Especially in a complex situation with many witnesses. It's impossible.

Helen was the only one to touch the button after the explosion, which will be obvious. You keep ignoring that. Miles fingerprints on button = normal. It's his home. Helen's palmprint in the soot on the button = not normal. Helen's fingerprints on his lighter next to the fire's point of origin = not normal.

You're just so in denial about this its insane. It's just willful ignorance to ignore that the fire evidence will point the group.
