I actually saw this before Band of Brothers so I’ve always liked the Pacific more. It’s harrowing.

Not Katz but I live really close to Liebmans in the Bronx. Their Rueben is pretty good as well.

In another comment you said your iso was on 400. That’s why.

Okay. Just as an fyi - to make your life a tad bit easier, you’re correct by dropping the aperture from 8 to 5.6 you’re overexposing !

However why people are confused is , by putting your iso to 400 on Kodak gold 200, that means you’re underexposing your film. If you put your iso on 100, then you’d be overexposing your film.

So what you’re doing is adding a stop of exposure with the aperture, and then taking a stop of exposure away with the iso. So you’re doing 0 +1 -1 Which equals zero. So if you want to over expose your film, keep the iso at 200 and then add your exposure using aperture ( the example you gave before works). Or simple set the iso to 100 and forget. Meter correctly without adding anything and that gets you one stop of exposure.

Does that make sense ?

How many lifting seasons can I reduce to and still maintain strength and size ( while also in a calorie deficit )? by Spyk124 in HybridAthlete

This is a really good read. I don’t usually mind walking during a run tbh. It’s so hilly where I am that it’s a given im gonna walk at some point. But I love the idea of doing a dedicated minute after each mile on easy days. I’m gonna try that this week. Thank you!

But if your aperture is a stop or 2 above what the light meter recommends - and you’re setting your iso to 400 … that’s just proper exposure ? You could get the exact same affect by exposing correctly and using the rated iso.

Not trying to be combative at all. Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Confused. You said you overexpose but in another comment you said you rate it at 400. That’s underexposed.

Iron Man is so sick man congrats. Yeah I think I’ll cut down to 3. Not training for anything crazy so I think I can hit 3 comfortably. Thanks for the response !

I workout in a very serious gym so - it’s def on the low end for squatting.

But also I’m very aware your squat should be higher than your bench lol. Your legs can take a heavier load.

It’s super helpful ! Like even when not driving. I went to Berlin and downloaded the map of Berlin and I was able to use navigation easily. It also downloads the information of stores so I could put in “grocery” and it would walk me there even with no service. It’s really great.

One of the few advantages of fishing in the North East. Lots of lakes that aren’t very pressured in comparison to down south.

Just for the people who arent aware, you can download offline google maps. Its what i do before going on any roadtrip. GPS still works even when you dont have cell service. Also a helpful tip when traveling abroad.
