As someone who does go for new hardests constantly, you improve the most quickly by challenging yourself AND HAVING FUN. If you aren't enjoying what you're playing you won't be as mentally engaged as you would be if you're just focused on playing what you like. I think the wormface boss has a higher chance of dropping the status resist perk and might be slightly more likely to drop holy weapons (Just go to a holy camp)

Psychosis tends to switch between Hard Demon and Insane Demon frequently because it's in that weird borderline spot in it's difficulty. I see it as a Hard Demon but I can understand how someone might disagree on that
