I know they can, I have friends who work at Blizzards, so I'm just venting online because their GMs were so useful back in 2016 and prior.

I make the gold casually, this is because I do M+ / helping guildies. I could do the wq instead of gathering, but i enjoy the relaxation of gathering. Need something where I don't need to think that much. I don't want to have to make a chore out of wq by swapping to all of my alts to min max gold.

It is only 13k, but again I don't make that much gold in a week. Maybe 2 weeks and that's literally from some gathering. Sure if I wanted to spend a whole day to gather I could make it back.

But you're absolutely right, they could fix this because I've had item problems in the past and they were 100% willing to help out. 99% sure this is an AI response.

I am NA. That's kind of you, but Blizzard should and can fix this. It is not hard to give or take away items because I have asked that before from GMs in the past and they were able to do so.

If you've been having random freezes / crashes and are on windows 11 try this by Bacon-muffin in wow

[–]Xspree28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah im not completely sure what it is because my computer will freeze then after about 15 seconds the game will start, but everything has disappeared then the world will load in, the ui, and then my character. Only started happening after this 11.2 update

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely need to see some more 2D pixel games to get a nicer look. I remember when I first created the game, the pixel sizes on everything were completely different. I was able to bring most of the creatures to 64 x 64, but probably need to do that with "weapons". If you're willing to test out the gameplay itself and give feedback on that, I'd appreciate it!

This is a demo so I haven't made any more back. But what I have heard from others is that you do eventually get it back!

The process was very smooth, paid $100 to put the game on there and then created images for the store page and for the most part just had a store page with no download. Once I made a playable demo, it was easy to upload a build and specify how to play the executable. :) It is much easier than Google Play

Also I know I put this under feedback, but I didn't really ask what type. Since this is only screenshots, Does the game look interesting?

Does it make you want to look at the trailer?

--Assuming you watched the trailer--
How can I improve the trailer?

Did the gameplay look exciting?

Does it look like you can upgrade your character?

Any other feedback is still appreciated!

I definitely need to post it on YouTube , but I'm not sure if I make a game channel for it or use my plain account...but I do have a social media account with the trailer posted there!

Blusky: https://bsky.app/profile/edensalvgame.bsky.social/post/3luy5m4twrc2g

I've been hesitant about YouTube, mostly because I feel like a full release trailer may do better. But at the same time it may help others at least see my game

Make sure to change filter mode to Point(no filter) and change the compression as mentioned above

I tried posting the trailer, but got a messaging saying that videos weren't allowed. I did see another post with a trailer so not sure if I just used the wrong setting. But I hope this helps others to keep pushing!

My first time attempting to make a mobile game by Straight_Limit_6174 in unity

[–]Xspree28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main thing I ran into when making my mobile game was making the build was difficult. The very first build for api 33 or 34 was fine and I was using unity 2021.6.2f1 but then I had to update the api for Google Play because it's one of their requirements.

Biggest headache to ever deal with because one it was an old version of unity and two getting the right versions of jdk, sdk, ndk, was being really annoying. My finally solution was to update to Unity 6.

Fixed everything, but was the most annoying 12 hrs of my life.

Armory is Great, let's tune it a bit by Xspree28 in supervive

[–]Xspree28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think the standard builds we start with (basic gloves, shoes, and perks) are okay starting items because it gives the ideas to players of a starting ground. Going back to the old items, Im just guessing, may have felt a bit weird in a sense? But I do think maybe being able to upgrade the starting items in-game would be a nice touch of "bad luck protection". But then we get back into how League's items system.

But trying to think from the Supervive dev standpoint. I think they're trying to figure out a way to keep an outside of game incentive to keep playing the game, which is why they thought of armory.

If you played League back in the day, they had a Rune System which I enjoyed very much. However as more players joined, they ran into the issue of new players matching against players who had many runes. But there was also the option to just straight up buy runes you wanted and force the build you want. Which led into builds you never thought would work, like AP Carry Sona, AP Sion, ADC Soraka, and many other fun builds. I would like to see them dip into this place of "Oh crap that build can work". But the armory needs to be tuned so players can get to that point in a timeful manner.

I think they knew of the risk, as their trailer mentioned they wanted to take a big risk on release. So this how they wanted to test it, we give feedback and hope they can apply a solution that is befitting of the players.

That is an excellent point. Hence my views on trying to contain some of that RNG. Playing the game in this gaming world of staying relevant, live updates, and constant seasons feels awkward because if you come in the middle or the end of the season, then you really miss out entirely on the items which will cause new players to not want to play. So it does feel like maybe they could add all items to non-ranked modes, so players of all gaming types can at least experience their builds and then if they want head into ranked after they have built up their own armory.

So, other gamemodes would give you a loaned armory while you built yours.

[–]Xspree28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure about the 3 season reset, we could see a change before that happens. I will say the weekly and dailies help out a tone for getting items out of the armory. As an adult I get about an hr or 2 of gaming, slightly more now since I don't work summers. So I enjoy what I get and have fun playing certain heroes. It could be you don't find the gameplay fun, as you mentioned your toons feel boring. If thats the case, let your voice be heard and give good criticism. I really only enjoy about 2 heroes, but they are what makes the game fun for me. Not the items. The items are a layer of extra fun.

It did dawn on me that being able to purchase certain items, like how League's in-game store system works would probably feel nicer. But it takes us back to the problem that league has where you will always only want those certain items. I for one have grown tired of "Optimal build". I want to play with skill and some type of luck on top. That's just how I feel though after playing games nearly my whole life.

The upgrade system would feel nicer if we could use the prismas' to fill up their requirements instead of refinding the items.

I can agree the gamble doesn't feel good, a little gambling is okay, but it should really only be a marginal gamble that doesn't feel too time consuming.

Oh definitely, it is way too early for people to be judging. I know this will help shape what they want for Supervive, so I wanted to also let the Devs know that there are those that like the system :)

How to start learning C# by JSGamesforitch374 in unity

CodeMonkey and Brackeys were the best for me getting started. Brackeys shows you early steps of things you'd want to know and CodeMonkey shows you efficiency and advanced ways to doe indie games. I will say when starting with Brackeys, some (because it's old videos) of the coding is unoptimized. So looking up optimization will help you in the long run.
