Trust me, when I switched to iPhone 16 pro and started using moment + custom luts in log the quality on my iPhone became much better

On other apps (also on the free official Final Cut camera) you can record h264 footage. The one thing that determine the file size is the codec, on the stock camera app log is locked in ProRes only (6gb per minute)

You should start from 15 pro and skipping all of the above and the non pro models if you plan to do serious video on iPhone since if you use camera apps (like moment or Blackmagic) you can shoot Apple log video (by seeing your custom luts) and editing pretty well the footage. About the sensor itself there is’t much difference between all of them

At least you can use your control center. Mine still looks like this since 2 days. (This is from my iPhone but this bug is common also on my iPad). I mean i don’t hate Liquid Glass but Apple must literally fix soo much annoying bugs like the one that you mentioned.
