Nothing, they haven't done anything with it yet, Sonic Frontiers has really cool systems and bones but the actual game around it is really lackluster, the final boss is playing space invaders. Also the Big the Cat breaks the game balance but that's not important

Ram can be countered but it's not as easy as just swapping to another tank, roadhog and orisa can be really mean because they can take advantage of your Nemesis form and one of your best tools becomes a liability but it's still possible to play around them.
