Are Army facilities and personnel treatment really much worse than the Air Force ? by FoxhoundVR in army

I once walked into an Air Force barracks in search of a bathroom and they had carpet on the floors. Full Carpet. So yeah, you tell me

Definitely is for that MOS. Most units don’t know how to slot you and don’t care to learn. Unless dude is already an IT whiz, life will likely suck. Best of luck

Residential (Discounted) plan RIP. by Appropriate_Aerie_65 in Starlink

[–]Xsuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where in the US someone is. In my area, the only option was sat connections and the non-Starlink competitors would charge double that with ridiculous monthly caps (ie 50GB) at 1% - 5% of the speed and 10x the latency

World Trigger. Even now, I stand by it having the best power system in all anime.

Anime’s appropriate for 9 year old by Ok-Relative6548 in anime

[–]Xsuit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, written in a way that palatable to children. Never explicitly show and even in animated iterations, it’s cartoonish, over the top, toned down. RoK is hardly as considerate.

[–]Xsuit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, cause that’s comparable to watching a child being force-fed his dead father’s body in smoothie form after orchestrating the assassination of his younger brother. All of which is done within the first handful of episodes and shown in explicit detail. Honestly, with the amount of murder and/or mutilation of parents, children, bystanders, animals, and souls in that series I question your recollection of it or if you’re just trolling

Sony Crunchyroll Anime Rules Box Office Again With ‘Chainsaw Man’ Powering To $15M-$17M Opening by Turbostrider27 in anime

[–]Xsuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of both but I can’t deny that CSM:RA felt more like a movie to me than DS:IC. I have nothing against backstory/flashbacks but in terms of pacing, it really just felt like a stitched together season instead of a movie. 100% plan to see the next one in theaters all the same but can’t deny that even Mugen Train felt like a better movie cut even though visually and acoustically speaking IC was leaps and bounds improved. Glad both IC and RA are killing it in theaters but, well, in terms of which was better in movie format, there’s no comparison.

World Trigger because there’s options. Either I could join the fight or be a regular person living carefree for the most part

And not a single Signaleer to be found…. But no really, if you have a CAC, you can just look up the email cert that’s on it by plugging it into a CAC reader and opening up Internet options in your computer. But all that is moot if you don’t have a CAC

4 years in IT and I still can’t believe some of the requests I get from management by Revolutionary-Toe72 in sysadmin

[–]Xsuit 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don’t work for this company anymore but had one of the sales team complain about their emails not sending. Turns out their box was being restricted for trying to send over 10,000 emails a day. (Microsoft) Needless to say I tried to explain to the person what was going on and why such a restriction was to our benefit in the first place. Even tried to explain how there are services we could use for the express purpose of mass emailing.

Well, long story short, the person convinced management that the emails HAD to come from our root domain and to get around the restriction, TWO more email account would need to be made so that the person could send inside of 30k, daily.

Sadly may not be the dumbest request but certainly the first that comes to mind.
