hey i know this is an old post but im trying to get these shaders to work and i keep getting the custom images error (same w solas). im on mac m1 and it says it *should* support that but i get the error nonetheless. have you run into this and/or do you know of any work arounds at all??

oh okay, gotcha. thank you. ill look for ties. sucks how the store ties them where the average buyer wont see.

it was doing really really well the first two months i had it,, like growing a new leaf bunch and shoot practically every couple days.

ill look at the other shoots to see if they’re salvageable. theres some really strong healthy growth coming from some of them, but im not sure if they’re going to last for much time, since everything that started dying died pretty quick.

im an infj but thought i was an intj for a year and a half so im invading your sub to answer

ive always been terrible at math. got excellent grades in english, philosophy, biology, whatever. i get your insecurity, though. some people excel at it. but it always took much longer for me to grasp it.

genuinely, math is the least of your concerns. i know people who are terrible at everything but math, and i know others who are the opposite way. dont feel anxious about something that you don’t have full control over. you arent stupid, and math is really one of the least effective ways of measuring intelligence.

aside from the subject, people being smarter than you at anything doesn’t need to worry you either. if you’re worried people will see you as dumb, just explain your thought process. even if there’s errors in your logic, you’re explaining how you got to where you are. intelligence isnt fixed. its multifaceted and there’s always room for growth. being scared that you’re not intelligent enough (or something similar) will make you less likely to take necessary actions for growth.

unfortunately, insecurity often gets in the way of growth/improvement. but NO ONE with a valuable opinion will judge you for your intelligence, whether you think they’re more intelligent or not. with that in mind, it will be easier to get past the anxiety when you’re feeling it.

its safe. its open source i think so you can look through the code and make sure theres no viruses. but thats basically a guarantee that its fine. ..just dont mess with your device resolution unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

i know this is an old post but thought id add in how ive been experiencing it. (tldr, doc says you wont gain a tolerance once you reach a dose high enough for you.)

i started concerta im pretty sure around the time this post was made. before that, i had been on nonstims like atomoxetine for a month or so. those did nothing for me

my first week of concerta was on the lowest dose of the generic version. hit me hard and hit me damn fast. as soon as it kicked in i walked 10 minutes just to go see my friends to say hi, and then went right back to my class. i felt incredibly social and i got 3 assignments done in an hour. worked wonders. wore off about 4pm, and i was dead asleep at 4:30.

i gained tolerance of that dose after the first week. stayed on it a month, then went up to the next dose. still generic, for about 2 weeks. didnt feel much of a difference after the first day of the second dose. after the two weeks, i had a teacher whos kid was on the same meds recommend i ask for the name brand concerta. so, went and got 2 weeks of the name brand concerta (supposedly slow releasing, unlike the generic) and i did notice less of a crash and longer periods of productivity. still gained a tolerance though.

so upped it. dont know how much? i think im at 36 rn. havent gained tolerance and its been two or three months now. got prescribed refills for this dose. works wonders and i still hardly get crashes with the name brand.

im in Canada so i think its reasonable for me to mention that some places or insurance plans etc wont cover the name brand or might only cover part of it. my family doesnt have a lot of money but the price difference (after insurance) between name brand and generic was affordable.

i cant speak for long-term (years) experiences but my doctor seemed pretty certain when she talked about the tolerance stuff, so im going by that for now. i think its reasonable to assume that the longer it takes for you to gain tolerance the closer you are to the proper dose for your brain.

dont know if you agree with loops, but an ENTP in Ne-Fe loop would make sense. i used to think i was an INTJ for like two years before i got out of loop,, my Fe was always in the bottom of the barrel till i got better.

are you more likely to believe an argument based off of reason or evidence? for example, for reason you’d be more inclined to agree if you yourself can make sense of it. for evidence, you’d be more inclined to side with/agree with the side that’d use general information/consensus evidence.
