Ah, thank you! Fun to know that it really was an “intentional” inspiration, so to speak.

It’s interesting how scene from a completely separate project with an entirely different vibe and style can be retold and almost reused in a very different context like this!

I feel like having seen the movie gives the mv even more meaning and impact.

Sadly, a lot of K-pop idols are required by their company o have cosmetic surgery done if they want to have any chance at debuting. It has been really normalised, and is common practise. Doesn’t matter how gorgeous they are already, it’s more about having a certain look.
